In Dead Space Remake, Schematics are collectibles that unlock new items and upgrades for purchase at the store. On this page of the guide, we supply a list and locations of all schematics appearing throughout all 12 chapters of the game. Uploading found schematics

In Dead Space Remake, there are 13 schematics to find across 12 chapters of the game which are one of the main categories of collectibles. Each schematic is in a predetermined place and finding it will allow you to purchase or craft a specific item/upgrade.

To unlock what they offer, you need to return with them to shops - the closest one will do. Once delivered, you'll receive a message that the schematic has been uploaded and you receive access to a new item/upgrade. It may be a one-time purchase (eg. suit of a higher level) or a consumable item (e.g. ammunition).

Pulse Rounds Schematics

The first opportunity to obtain this schematic appears in Chapter 2.

You can find it in Coolant Pipelinesroom on level 4 of the Medical Deck. Isaac first goes through this location on his way back from where he got the hydrazine tank.

Stasis Pack Schematics

The first opportunity to obtain this schematic appears in Chapter 2.

You need to get to Main Lab Changing Room on level 1 of the Medical Deck. The area is visited for the first time after lifting the quarantine and on the way to obtain the Shock Pad.

Medium Med Pack Schematics

The first opportunity to obtain this schematic appears in Chapter 3.

The area you need to visit is behind the Decontamination Room on level 2 of Engineering Deck. A good opportunity to collect this one appears after successfully defeating a large group of necromorphs on the way to activate the Centrifuge.

Ripper Blades Schematics

The first opportunity to obtain this schematic appears in Chapter 3.

You need to reach the lower level of the Fuel Storage on level 5 of the Engineering Deck. Look for it after defeating a group of crawling creatures along the way to the area where you need to manually ignite the engines.

Flamethrower Fuel Schematics

The first opportunity to obtain this schematic appears in Chapter 3.

The schematic is in the Engine Room on level 4 of the Engineering Deck, next to the console used to restart the engines.

Intermediate Engineer RIG Schematics

The opportunity to collect this schematic appears in Chapter 4.

You need to reach the Eva Prep Room on the bridge. The area is visited just before entering open space to calibrate the ADS Cannons.

Oxygen Tank Schematics

The opportunity to collect this schematic appears in Chapter 4.

You need to reach the Refueling Control Stations on level 4 of the Engineering Deck. The room with the schematics is encountered during Chapter 3, but you can gain access to it only after obtaining level 2 Security Clearance, which happens in Chapter 4.

Line Racks Schematics

The opportunity to collect this schematic appears in Chapter 5.

You need to reach Doctor Warwick's office (Dr B. Warwick - CPO) on level 5 of the Medical Deck. The office door has level 2 security clearance, so it was not accessible during the first visit to the Medical Deck. You can easily reach the office by taking a short detour from the main path while you are on your way to the transmission source.

Force Energy Schematics

The opportunity to get this secret appears in Chapter 6.

The schematic is floating in zero gravity area. The area in question is the Air Filtration Tower on level 3 of the Hydrophonics Deck. You pass through this area when attempting to disable fire bursts - this is along the way to Wheezer 07. Look for it in a small northern area from screenshot 1.

Contact Energy Schematics

The opportunity to get this schematic appears in Chapter 7.

You need to reach a small room on level 5 of the Mining Deck. Get there by entering the elevator and choosing Deck B - Processing. The elevator in question is encountered along the way to Admin RIG.

The room with the secret is locked. Circle the room to find a broken window from screenshot 1 - aim through it using a firearm and hit the fuse. Once the door is unlocked, get in and collect the schematic from the table.

Intermediate Miner Rig Schematics

The opportunity to get this schematic appears in Chapter 7.

You need to reach the Equipment Workshop room on level 2 of the Mining Deck - the area is visited when attempting to find the SOS Beacon (campaign objective).

Large Med Pack Schematics

This secret is obtainable only in Chapter 9 and can be easily overlooked. This is because you cannot return to USM Valor after the conclusion of Chpapter 9.

The schematic is in the Infirmary, the area where you have to avoid the laser trap. The area in question is visited along the way to the Singularity Core.

Advanced Engineering RIG Schematics

The opportunity to collect this schematic appears in Chapter 10.

You need to reach Standard Bathrooms, an area that is visited at the beginning of the exploration of Crew Quarters (level 4), during the search for the Crew Deck Key.
