Alternate Solutions is the name of Chapter 11 of Dead Space Remake. Our walkthrough shows how to reach the Cargo Bay, how to engage the Cargo Crane, how to transport the Marker, how to load the Marker to the shuttle, how and where to meet Nicole, how to pilot the shuttle, and how to reach the Aegis VII colony.

Reach the Cargo Bay

After the chapter starts, choose the western exit from the room. You'll reach the tram station - select Hangar - Cargo as your new destination.

Use the Locator and follow the path laid out by it (east and south). You will reach the entrance to the Cargo Bay.

Once the Marker reaches the shuttle, fly to the take-off site. Interacting with the terminal will restore gravity in the main hangar.

After reaching the Flight Control Center, go to the Main Tower, where Nicole is staying. Next to it is an interactive terminal that will allow remote piloting of the shuttle.

The entrance to the shuttle is also a Point of No Return. You will no longer be able to return to Ishimura during this playthrough, although your progress (collectibles, equipment, credits) will be carried over to New Game Plus. If there is something left for you to do on Ishimura, don't embark just yet and save the game in the lobby.

Once ready, go to the cockpit and a cut-scene depicting the flight will begin. Chapter 12 (final one) begins now.
