How to unlock: Survive the many perils of Venice Beach and meet Dr. Reed at the Serling Hotel.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Making Your Mark
How to unlock: Complete 10 non-Story Quests.
Comment: These must be Side Quests or Lost & Found Quests.
Git Gutte!
How to unlock: Join forces with Sam B and get your hands on some firepower.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Anger Management
How to unlock: Slay 50 zombies with Fury Attacks.
Comment: Fury Mode is not available from the beginning of the game. You will unlock it in the Brentwood Sewer district during The Red Mist main quest. Once you got it, activate Fury when its bar is full (L3 and R3). Use Fury when you are fighting larger groups of zombies.
Make It So
How to unlock: Help Sarah and Sebastian light a beacon of hope.
Comment: This achievement requires you to complete the Beacon of Hope side quest. You can start it only after finishing the main story. Wait for Sebastian to show up at the hideout in Hollywood Boulevard and talk to him.
LA Influential
How to unlock: Complete 40 non-Story Quests.
Comment: Check out the description of the Making Your Mark trophy.
Perks of the Job
How to unlock: Complete 5 Blueprint Challenges.
Comment: In the pause menu you will find challenges. One of them are the Blueprint Challenges. These may include, for example, using strong attacks, knocking over zombies or causing a bleeding effect. Finish any 5 challenges.
Bookworm
How to unlock: Collect 50 Journals.
Comment: Journals are one category of secrets and collectibles - these include documents, letters or audio logs. There are 234 Journals in the entire game, so you need to find a relatively small percentage of them.
Break a Leg
How to unlock: Maim 100 limbs.
Comment: Information about some melee weapons being able to Maim enemies can be found in the upper right corner in the inventory (example in the picture). Use them to cut off the limbs of zombies.
On Safari
How to unlock: Complete the first tier of every Zombie Challenge.
Comment: 24 different Zombie Challenges await you in the pause menu. These include eliminating different types of enemies or dealing specific types of damage. You don't have to complete 100% of the challenges, only the first challenges of the group, i.e. those that have 1 in their title.
I Got a Zombie Army and You Can't Harm Me
How to unlock: Perform 25 perfect defensive moves.
Comment: Set Block as an active skill and use it in battles with zombies - press the block button just before the monster's attack reaches you. The zombie will be stunned by a successful parrying.
But Doctor, I Am Butcho
How to unlock: Slay a killer clown and get your blood sample back to Dr. Reed.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Slayer Squad
How to unlock: Complete any 5 quests in co-op.
Comment: You must play with at least 1 other player. It is best to choose shorter optional quests.
Smorgasbord
How to unlock: Complete the first tier of every Exploration Challenge.
Comment: 7 different Exploration Challenges can be found in the pause menu. They concern, among other things, opening safes or collecting skill cards. You don't have to complete 100% of the challenges, only the first challenges of the group, i.e. those that have 1 in their title.
Can't Handle the Truth
How to unlock: Learn the truth about what you are as dark secrets are revealed.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Coup de Grace
How to unlock: Slay 25 zombies using finishing moves.
Comment: This is an easy trophy. The fastest way to get it is by stomping on the skulls of knocked-down monsters. An attack icon must appear next to the head - press the indicated button.
Like Riding a Bike
How to unlock: Find Patton and convince him to fly you out of Hell-A.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Not Even My Final Form
How to unlock: Slay a Mutator before it transforms.
Comment: You will start encountering Mutators from the moment you face the boss Specimen Noah in the Ocean Avenue neighborhood in The Search for Truth main quest.
From this point on, Mutator Hot Spot will appear on the maps of some districts - you must visit them. Initially, some mutators camouflage themselves and resemble regular zombies. You can recognize them by their exposed chest (example in the picture).
Quickly perform a series of attacks using melee weapons, firearms or throwable explosives. The monster must die while still in its default form and must not have time to transform into a large mutant.
Hazardous Material
How to unlock: Slay 100 Zombies using Caustic, Fire, or Shock damage.
Comment: This is a simple achievement. Use melee weapons that deal damage with different elements. You can find or get a weapon that already has this effect, or modify one at a workbench to deal elemental damage.
Friend Like These
How to unlock: Encounter a mysterious benefactor.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Hotel California
How to unlock: Fight through the Halperin Hotel to make contact with the authorities.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Donk!
How to unlock: Throw a melee weapon and hit zombie 35+ meters away.
Comment: Stock up on low-quality melee weapons just so you don't have to worry about losing them. You'll probably make at least a few long-distance throws (hold down the aim button) before one of them results in a successful hit. A monster you hit doesn't have to die.
Internet Famous
How to unlock: Complete Amanda’s Clickbait quests.
Comment: Amanda Styles appears in 3 side quests:
- #Clickbait - available in the Bel-Air district.
- Like and Follow! - available in the Wharf district.
- Going Viral - available in the Hollywood Boulevard district (after finishing the main storyline).
Sole Survivor
How to unlock: Complete all Lost & Found Missing Person Quests.
Comment: There are a total of 15 quests in this group. You can start them by:
- taking orders from the board at the Ocean Avenue safe house;
- finding quest items in the game world.
Lost and Found quests are marked with red icons on the map.
Jumbo Keyring
How to unlock: Unlock 10 Lockboxes.
Comment: Lockboxes are marked on the world map with a safe icon. Each lockbox requires a matching key - it may be lying in plain sight or can be carried by a zombie roaming the area (monsters with a key have unique names).
There are many more lockboxes in the game than the 10 required by the trophy. You don't have to open all of them.
Apex Predator
How to unlock: Knock down 10 Apex Variants.
Comment: Apex Variants are elite types of monsters. The achievement is easiest to get by fighting Crushers. Use strong attacks, explosives and make environmental objects explode.
Zombologist
How to unlock: Unlock every zombie type in the Zompedia.
Comment: You should get the achievement by playing the game normally, but you will unlock it relatively late in the game.
The last species of zombies you will encounter should be the Vicious Butchers - you will encounter them for the first time in the Metro district. Remember to kill all new types of monsters, because this is the only way to add their entries to the Zompedia.
Ooh, Shiny!
How to unlock: Find your first Legendary Weapon.
Comment: Legendary weapons have an orange color. You will receive a few of them as rewards for completed quests, but they won't unlock the trophy. Complete the main story and then keep opening chests with random weapons until you get a legendary one.
Gore Horse
How to unlock: Help an artist to complete their greatest piece of art.
Comment: The artist is Francesca from Beverly Hills - wait for the quest marker to appear near the northern mansion.
You have to perform side quests from the Body Art series. They involve bringing various body parts of defeated monsters. After delivering all the ingredients, wait for The Unveiling quest marker to appear. Meet Francesca at the back of her house to see her finished work.
A Patton Emerges
How to unlock: Survive the Metro system and get to Hollywood Boulevard.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Humanity Distilled
How to unlock: Equip your first Numen Skill Card.
Comment: You will get the first card automatically during the main quests in the Ocean Avenue district.
I Am the Resurrection
How to unlock: Revive other Slayers 5 times.
Comment: The achievement can only be obtained in co-op mode. You have to revive knocked down players.
Down with the Sickness
How to unlock: Reach the highest tier of Autophage infection by equipping Autophage Skills.
Comment: You can learn about the Autophage tiers from Dr. Reed when you complete The Final Gauntlet main quest in the Ocean Avenue hideout.
There are 3 tiers of the infection and you can fill it 100% by assigning 3 Autophage skill cards to the active slots. You can acquire new Autophage skill cards by making progress in the game - they are marked with a skull icon.
Sharpest Tool in the Box
How to unlock: Complete 5 Lost & Found Weapon Quests.
Comment: Check out the description of the Sole Survivor trophy.
Stacking the Deck
How to unlock: Collect 30 Skill Cards.
Comment: You should get the achievement fairly early in the campaign. There are 64 skills in the game and you only have to acquire 30 cards. They are rewarded for:
- leveling up - each level gives you 1 new card;
- completing quests - they are rewards only in selected quests;
- finding them as loot - they are one of the types of collectibles.
Personal Assistant Personally Assisted
How to unlock: Track down Michael and rescue him from the Terror at Monarch Studios.
Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the main storyline. You can't miss it.
Survival Skills
How to unlock: Complete the first tier of every Survivor Challenge.
Comment: There are 10 different Survivor Challenges in the pause menu. They concern, among other things, collecting materials for crafting and upgrading the weapons you have. You don't have to complete 100% of the challenges, only the first challenges of the group, i.e. those that have 1 in their title.
Max Headroom
How to unlock: Reach level 30.
Comment: Level 30 is the highest available level in the game. You can get it the fastest by doing all types of quests, because they grant the most XP.
Go, Bobcats!
How to unlock: Reunited all the VCLA Bobcats.
Comment: The trophy is a reward for completing the side quest Dez and the Mother of Satan. You unlock this quest in the Coastal district after making enough progress in the game.
Our True Nature
How to unlock: Give up your chance to be human again.
Comments: This trophy is obtained automatically for completing the main story.
This is My Weapon
How to unlock: Fully upgrade a Superior weapon and customize it with a mod or perk in every slot.
Comment: Superior weapons have a purple color and you will start finding and receiving them only after making enough progress in the game.
After getting a purple weapon, reach any workbench. You must fill all the upgrade slots by placing mods and perks you have blueprints of. An example of a properly upgraded weapon is shown in the picture.
Variety is the Spice of Death
How to unlock: Complete the first tier of every Weapon Challenge.
Comment: There are 10 different Weapon Challenges in the pause menu. They concern, among other things, attacking zombies with specific types of melee weapons and firearms. Welcome to Hell-A
How to unlock: Survive a plane crash, get bitten, and create your first Zombie-Free Zone.
Comment: You get this achievement automatically by finishing the prologue.
Rising Star
How to unlock: Complete 20 non-Story Quests.
Comment: These must be Side Quests or Lost & Found Quests.
Zombicidal Maniac
How to unlock: Complete the first tier of every Zombie Challenge.
