Dead Island 2 is one of the most interesting games of 2023. In our guide, we answer whether the game will appear in the Xbox Game Pass subscription on launch.

Dead Island 2 is scheduled for release on April 21, 2023, and the game will not be available in Xbox Game Pass on its release. To play this game, you will need to purchase it on PC or in one of the console versions (PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series).

However, this doesn't mean that Dead Island 2 will never appear in Game Pass. Some of the games released by Deep Silver have appeared in Xbox Game Pass some time after their release (e.g. Iron Harvest or Chorus).
