Deacon can fall off his bike if you're not careful enough or don't react fast enough to events in the area. On this page of Days Gone guide, we have included some tips on how to reduce the risk of falling off a motorcycle.
Here are three the most common reasons of falling of the bike:
- Collision with an indestructible obstacle. It can be, for example, a stone, a large tree or a wall of a building. Look out for such obstacles during off-road driving and do not drive too close to objects of this type. Motorcycle that moves on a bumpy terrain may accidentally turn left or right.
- An attack by a Freaker or a wild animal. You should know that by driving a motorcycle, you are not fully resistant to attacks of enemies that seek hand-to-hand combat. Monster or predator (for example, wolf) can perform a jump towards the motorcycle, and if it is successful, Deacon will be knocked out of the machine. It is best to just keep a safe distance from the creatures encountered and accelerate if necessary. Also remember that you can attack enemies with melee weapons without getting off the bike.
- Attack by a living opponent. It is related with the attacks of enemy snipers. If you only notice that Deacon is being tracked by a sniper (red laser sight beam), quickly get off the bike. There is a high probability that the attempt to escape will be unsuccessful and that the sniper may shoot and knock you out of the bike.
If you fall off the bike, it is impossible to immediately continue driving. First, you need to hold the Square button to put up the fallen motorcycle. If there are enemies in the area, then look after them, so as not to become an easy prey for them when restoring the motorcycle to the vertical position. Also check the damage and overall condition of the motorcycle. If the motorcycle has lost a lot of durability, it is worth to repair it.
