During the journey through the world of the Days Gone from time to time a blue question marks may appear on the minimap. On this page of the guide we will explain what the questionnaire means and how you can respond to it.
The appearance of a blue question mark on the mini-map does not mean additional hassle. The questionnaire also does not symbolize something important. Question marks are instructed to direct you to the locations of minor investigations. Ignoring them will not result in any bad consequences. You can check out this places if you are looking for extra adventures.
Going in the direction of the questionnaire, will let you reach the blue circle on the mini-map. Search it to find some interactive trail. The controller always vibrates slightly when you turn towards the desired tracks. This will make it a lot easier to find it.
After studying the trail, you can optionally attach a short "visualization" of past events. It tells where you should check for another trace, although you can also do it without watching it to the end.
Deacon must follow these tracks. These may be traces of shoes or blood, visible in survival mode. Instead of searching for tracks on the screen you can count on small dots appearing on the mini-map.
Alternately, follow the footsteps and get to places where there is a subject or object to study. These investigations have different "endings". Traces can lead the main character, for example, to the corpse of a mortally wounded Freaker, to the camp of bandits attacking random people, to a chest with supplies or to the place where some hostages are being imprisoned.
