Save the world! | Walkthrough Day of the Tentacle: Remastered Guide

Now, you will face the last, most important task. Bernard, Hoagie and Laverne have to stop the tentacle from fulfilling its plans. To do that, they have to travel back in time one day.

Due to circumstances explained in a long cut-scene, all three heroes will go inside one capsule. It will merge their bodies into one. Controlling this strange character, leave the room in which you hid from the tentacle and head to the second door, to Dwayne's room. When trying to open it, you will be ambushed by the tentacle and shrunk. If you didn't manage to open the door, you have to wait until your size goes back to normal. Allow the tentacle to shrink you again and go inside the room. Head towards the mouse hole. If you don't make it this time, walk out to the corridor to get shrunk again. When you make it to green tentacle room, you can go back to normal size. Take the bowling ball from the table. After opening the door and walking to the corridor, you will see that the tentacle is gone. You can safely go down and go to the lab through the clock.

Downstairs, there is an army of purple tentacles. They are arranged like in a bowling game. Use the bowling ball to get rid of the enemies. Lastly, you have to deal with the bearded tentacle. Talk to it and choose the following dialogue options:

1. Just what is it you have against humans, anyway?
2. Sounds like that's all Dr. Fred's fault, really.
3. You're pretty handy with that ray gun.
4. Why don't you zap Dr. Fred if you hate him so much?

When the conversation is over, watch the last cut-scene and the epilogue that will explain the merging of the three friends' bodies. Congratulations! You've just saved the world and completed Day of the Tentacle Remastered. If you like completing achievements, don't skip the credits!
