Darksiders Genesis has a lot of open and large maps that you can navigate on horseback. Each of the brothers has his own horse - they make exploration much faster.
Horse is currently unavailable
You can't ride a horse in some places. They are marked with a special icon.
They are often narrow corridors or arenas where you fight opponents. You need to explore those places on foot.
Fighting on horseback
You can attack enemies while riding a horse. However, you must remember that enemies can throw you off the horse, making you an easy target.
You can't collect items
While riding, you can collect health orbs, elixirs and other resources that don't require direct interaction.
All chests, maps and cores have to be collected after dismounting. This means that you need to constantly monitor the position of your character.
No ability to jump
You can't jump on a horse. This means you can't go over obstacles or cross chasms. You have to do that by moving on foot.
Charge
Each of the horses can use a charge. Thanks to this, you will not only increase your speed but also be able to crush the enemies in your way. Use this move to skip fights.
