Change characters to suit the current situation

Changing characters is one of the main mechanics of Darksiders Genesis. To change a character, you need to press the right button.

War is perfect for fast and aggressive attacks.

However, if you want to quickly attack enemies from a distance or prefer a more tactical approach, Strife will be a better choice.

Return to the previously visited locations

If you want to constantly develop your character and his equipment, go back to the locations you have already explored. You will get souls, discover secrets and get supplies for your characters.

Remember that the development of your character gives you an advantage over weaker opponents. Therefore, most of the locations you revisit won't be as challenging as before.

Play with a friend

Despite the fact that the cooperation mode increases the number and difficulty of opponents, it has its advantages.

It is easier to discover secrets, fight enemies and escape from dangerous situations when you are with someone.

In addition, all souls are divided, and each player can collect any items. You won't steal items from each other - each of you will get something valuable.

Collect creature cores

Creature cores are the basis of the character development in Darksiders Genesis.

The main cores are dropped by bosses and mini-bosses. They offer the biggest benefits.

Use Wrath

In Darksiders Genesis, wrath is one of the most effective ways to kill demons. You will unlock this attack during the main storyline.

To use this skill, you have to pick up the yellow orbs that fall out of the killed creatures.
