Distract Enemies

Hook up a nearby electrical device to attract the attention of your opponent. A simple but extremely valuable trick that will allow you to move around enemy territory without having to eliminate your opponents.

Where to buy / how to get: default Cyberdeck feature.

Synapse Burnout - Cyberpunk 2077: Best quickhacks - Basics - Cyberpunk 2077 Guide

Synapse Burnout

Rare: The damage it deals increases as the target's health decreases. This hack is less effective against mechanical enemies.

Epic: when the target is defeated, it bursts into flames and causes nearby enemies to panic.

Legendary: has the following passive effect when equipped. Disposing of opponents with the use of quickhacks will cause panic in nearby enemies.

Where to buy: A rare version of this quickhack can be bought from a Netrunner in Pacifica (Batty's Hotel) or from a Ripperdoc, also in Pacifica (West Wind Apartments).

Short Circuit

Uncommon: Deals moderate damage to the target. Very effective against mechanical enemies (Drones) and targets with weak points.

Rare: applies an EMP effect that lasts for a few seconds.

Epic: deals 30% more damage to enemies below a high threat level.

Legendary: has the following passive effect when equipped. Critical hits from any weapon activate the uncommon effect of this quickhack.

Where to buy: the uncommon and rare versions of this quickhack can be bought from the Netrunner in Pacifica's Batty's Hotel.

Reboot Optics - Cyberpunk 2077: Best quickhacks - Basics - Cyberpunk 2077 Guide

Reboot Optics

Uncommon: resets the opponent's optical cyberware and temporarily blinds them. Useful when you want to finish the target quietly.

Rare: spreads to the nearest target within 8 meters.

Epic: significantly prolongs the duration of the effect.

Legendary: activates the Optics Jammer daemon during Breach Protocol.

Where to buy: the rare version of this quickhack can be bought from the Ripperdoc in Pacifica's West Wind Apartments.

Cyberware Malfunction

Uncommon: it blocks the opponent's cyberware and thus deprives them of abilities, which may affect their movement or resistances. Very effective against netrunners and some of the stronger opponents.

Rare: spreads to the nearest target within 8 meters.

Epic: it triggers an explosion of a random cyberware implant once the effect's duration expires.

Where to buy: the uncommon and rare versions of this quickhack can be bought from the Netrunner in Pacifica's Batty's Hotel.

Weapon Glitch - Cyberpunk 2077: Best quickhacks - Basics - Cyberpunk 2077 Guide

Weapon Glitch

Uncommon: interferes with the enemy's weapon, reducing its accuracy and disabling Smart tracking and obstacle penetration (Tech weapons).

Rare: spreads to the nearest target within 8 meters.

Epic: makes the target's weapon explode, damaging it.

Legendary: has the following passive effect when equipped. Activates the Weapons Jammer daemon during Breach Protocol.

Where to buy: the uncommon and rare versions of this quickhack can be bought from the Netrunner in Pacifica's Batty's Hotel.

System Reset

Epic: causes the opponent's nervous system to shut down, resulting in a loss of consciousness. The targeted opponent won't be able to make any sound.

Legendary: has the following passive effect when equipped. Defeating your opponent lowers the RAM cost of the next quickhack.

How to obtain:

You can get the epic version of this quickhack from Nix (the Netrunner from club Afterlife), but first you have to go to the junkyard, find Dex's body and open the fridge located nearby. Take Bartmoss' Cyberdeck and bring it Nix, who'll break the code and hand you the quickhack.

The diagram for creating the Legendary version of this quickhack is obtained for completing the Spellbound side job - you will need to decrypt a tablet.

Cyberpsychosis

Epic: the targets starts attacking enemies and allies indiscriminately. If there are no enemies nearby, they will commit suicide. What's more, it turns nearby drones, mechs and robots friendly towards you, making them start attacking your enemies.

Legendary: has the following passive effect when equipped. Opponents affected by the quickhack will no longer avoid friendly fire.

How to get: You can find the epic version of this quickhack on the bodies of defeated Voodoo Boys. It spawns entirely randomly.
