On this page of the Cyberpunk 2077 guide, we answer the question of how to get the experience points needed to advance your character to the next levels faster. You will also find general tips on how to collect XP for each skill in order to further develop it.
In Cyberpunk 2077, the fastest way to get the experience points is not very original - it is by completing tasks. These include main and side quests, gigs, as well as additional events on the map, such as robberies in the city and neutralizing hideouts of organized crime groups.
All types of activities are rewarded with XP, but of course, the biggest amount of experience points you will get by completing longer and more important tasks.
Experience points are also awarded for eliminating opponents, but it is best to combine this with quests to maximalize the number of XP points given.
You can also accumulate XP for frequent small activities. An XP increase is very small in this case, but you can repeat the steps very often and get some points each time. In this category you will find:
- Solving mini-hacking games - XP is gained for successful Breach Protocol, not every hacking activity.
- Crafting - What's important is that you will get XP not only when you create an item, but also every time you disassemble unnecessary equipment in your inventory. This can be especially useful for junk, which is found in the game in huge amounts and which disassembly process can be automatized (i.e. automatic disassembly of all lifted junk).
In addition to collecting the experience points, try to do actions needed to gain XP to develop the character's abilities. It looks different for each skill. For example, if you want to gain XP for Stealth, you have to often perform stealth action and to develop the Blades, you have to use the white weapon in the fight.
