There are 2 main endings ofCult of the Lamb . Even though the game doesn't call them that, we can divide them into good and bad.
Bad ending
Upon reaching the chambers of The One Who Waits, God will order you to sacrifice yourself for the sake of the cult. If you accept the order, your character will die and the game will suddenly end .
Good ending
Refusing to sacrifice himself to The One Who Waits will result in his anger and lead to a fight with two servants and the god himself. Tips for the final fight can be found on the Bosses - list of all page.
After winning the fight, The One Who Waits will take on an animal form and you will face another moral dilemma. You have 2 options for what to do with a weakened god :
- Kill - choose this option to definitely end The One Who Waits's life - he won't bother anyone anymore.
- Spare - you can incorporate The One Who Waits into the ranks of your cult as a follower - he has a special trait - Immortality - making him the only Follower that doesn't die because of old age.
The Good Ending allows you to continue the game.
