Cube World consists of huge areas that are hard to cross on foot. A good choice are the pets which you can ride. On this page of our guide you will find information about how many players can use a specific mount and what is required to ride your pet.
How to dismount?
In order to get off the mount in Cube World, you need to do one of the following interactions:
- Attack. Since a character cannot fight while using a mount it will automatically dismount;
- Make a dodge;
- Fall from a high height;
- Activate a boat or an aircraft.
Thirst counter
Each of the mounts in Cube World has a thirst counter. It determines the endurance of the animal you use as a mount. To fill this counter up, you simply need to give your pet something to drink. You can do this by swimming in the ocean or standing in a puddle of water.
When the animal's thirst counter gets depleted, it can no longer be driven, but the pet will continue to follow you and attack your enemies as a sidekick.
How to mount a pet?
In order to ride a mount, you must meet the following requirements:
- Tame the animal;
- Get a riding point skill;
- Set the mount as the active pet;
- Face your companion and click the appropriate button (default is R key).
