On this page you will find a detailed description of unlocking the Golden trophy called "The Ultimate Gem Path" in Crash Bandicoot for PlayStation 4. The trophy is awarded for obtaining all 26 gems.

Its one of the hardest trophies to unlock because it requires you to collect all chests in all 26 levels in the game (the Great Hall level and the boss fights dont have any chests) - The Ultimate Gem Path | Crash Bandicoot Trophy Guide - Crash Bandicoot - Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Game Guide

It's one of the hardest trophies to unlock because it requires you to collect all chests in all 26 levels in the game (the Great Hall level and the boss fights don't have any chests). In order to get this trophy, first you should obtain six colored gems. These treasures can be obtained by completing specific levels of the game and destroying all chests in them WITHOUT DYING EVEN ONCE. In most cases it is very challenging as these levels have plenty of traps and enemies that can kill you. You should try completing these levels perfectly only once you become very familiar with them. These levels include:

  1. Lost City - Collecting all chests without losing a single life will unlock the Green Gem.
  2. Generator Room - Collecting all chests without losing a single life will unlock the Orange Gem.
  3. Toxic Waste - Collecting all chests without losing a single life will unlock the Blue Gem.
  4. Slippery Climb - Collecting all chests without losing a single life will unlock the Red Gem.
  5. The Lab - Collecting all chests without losing a single life will unlock the Yellow Gem.
  6. Lights Out - Collecting all chests without losing a single life will unlock the Purple Gem. Important - first you must unlock the yellow gem!

Obtaining the colored gems as first is important since they must be used in some levels. An example from the Jungle Rollers level is presented above. In the spot with the transparent object you must use green crystal that will unlock access to previously unavailable chests.

Once you obtain 6 colored gems, you can focus on obtaining the remaining 20 gems by destroying all chests in them (in these cases you can die as many times as you need). In some levels there won't be any additional complications, in others you will have to unlock secret paths by using colored crystals. Below is a list of more troublesome levels:

  1. Jungle Rollers - Green gem required.
  2. Great Gate - Yellow gem required.
  3. Upstream - Orange gem required.
  4. Rolling Stones - Blue gem required.
  5. Native Fortress - Red gem required.
  6. Road to Nowhere - Red gem required.
  7. Boulder Dash - Purple gem required.
  8. Cortex Power - Blue gem required.
  9. Lights Out - Yellow gem required.
  10. Jaws of Darkness - Blue gem required.
  11. Castle Machinery - Green gem required.
