Toxic tunnels is the twenty-ninth board featured in the game Crash Bandicoot 4. On this page, you will find information about all gems, crates, secret levels. It also contains a detailed walkthrough.
Secret tape
Before starting the adventure on this map, you should learn an important information. Here you will find a secret tape that will unlock access to a retro level.
Remember, the only way to get the tape is if you haven't died even once. Additionally, you have to complete the map in order for the tape to be added to your inventory.
You'll get the tape at the end of the map.
Gems
You can get six gems on the Toxic tunnels map.
You can get gems for:
- Getting 40% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting 60% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting 80% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting all chests - 273;
- Completing the entire map while dying less than 3 times;
- Finding the hidden gem.
Number of crates
You can get 273 gems on the map.
Walkthrough
You'll see the nightmare of this level just at the beginning. Your main task will be to navigate the pipes that are notoriously spinning. In addition, some of them are connected to electricity.
Pass the carts, opponents and the electricity to get as far as possible.
Move around the walls to get through. However, remember that the platforms on which you land can move.
Going forward, you will reach a special bonus stage that will only open if you have all the colored gems. On a separate page of the guide we have described this stage detailed.
However, turn right, bypass nitro and continue walking through the tunnel.
You have to get up on quite stable platforms that move in a specific way. It shouldn't cause you a big problem.
Then it's time to sequence with electricity. Jump over it or slide under it so your character doesn't lose his life.
This is the continuation of wall jumping. You just have to aim properly to hit the platform on the other side.
A sequence with carts can make you nervous. However, remember that you can jump over your opponents or attack them. Additionally, hide on small platforms to avoid attacks from opponents.
You'll see metal parts on the next platforms. You have to avoid them, they fill up with lava and explode right under your feet.
The last stage of this board is a direct run to the top. You have to avoid opponents, electricity and fire.
Hidden gem
You will find this hidden gem just behind the secret level.
Secret level
The bonus level is located on the left side, right next to the save point. You have to get 44 chests in it - but be careful, a lot of them are Nitro.
