Draggin’ On is the tenth map available in Crash Bandicoot 4. On this page, you will find information about all gems, chests, secret levels. It also contains a detailed walkthrough.
Secret tape
The adventure on this map must begin with an important information. Here you will find a secret tape that will unlock access to a retro level.
Remember, the only way to get the tape is if you haven't died even once. Additionally, you have to complete the map in order for the tape to be added to your inventory.
You'll find the tape in front of the big bell. It is protected by two magical lions. You can eliminate them or just sneak past them to get the secret.
Gems
You can get six gems on the map.
You can get gems for:
- Getting 40% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting 60% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting 80% of all Wumpa fruits available on the map;
- Getting all 139 boxes;
- Completing the entire map while dying less than 3 times;
- Finding the hidden gem.

There are 139 boxes on the map.
Level description
Let's start with the fact that on the level you will find many magical creatures that will try to push you off the map and kill you. Step very carefully so as not to fall under their bodies.
Another thing you'll often push at this level is climbing platforms. You have to be careful, the platform will often disappearing or falling apart under your feet.
As you proceed, you'll get a mask, you know exactly what to do. Pick up speed and jump to the other side. Along the way, stop on a small wooden platform to launch yourself up.
There is one other mechanic to watch out for on this map. Special opponents hit the bells, causing waves that repel you. If you get hit, you will fall down and lose your life.
Haste is a very inappropriate thing to do on this level. You have to be patient, for example, when there are two bells next to each other. You have to wait for your opponents to hit them and then take advantage of their moment of stagnation.
The next part involves long jumps and avoiding magical creatures. Next, you'll have another climb awaiting you.
Remember to be patient and keep your cool? In the final part of this level, you're going to need it a lot of that. You have to jump to the top, using small pieces of terrain and wooden platforms. Along the way, you'll be attacked by magical creatures, lions, and sound waves. You have to move very calmly and confidently, don't hesitate otherwise the opponents will take advantage of your weakness.
Hidden gem
You'll find the hidden gem in the cavity right behind the lion. You don't have to get rid of the enemy. Just jump in behind it and make your way to the left. You'll find some crates and the gem.
Secret level
The entrance to the secret level can be found just behind the destroyed bridge, next to the checkpoint.
In this bonus level you can get 22 boxes. You have to watch out for nitro and opponents.
Remember, you don't lose lives on bonus levels!
