There are 153 chests on the Snow Way Out map.
Level description
The level teaches you about an interesting mechanic – you can slow the time down after picking up a mask.
You will have to use it very soon. Hit the chest located in the bottom right corner – it will spawn four more chests you can destroy. This is a perfect opportunity to stop the time and collect Wumpa fruits.
Do the same a few steps later. Hit the metal chest to make a passage appear. Slow the time down to use it. If you don't do that, you won't be able to reach the other side.
Moving forward, you encounter a few enemies. They shoot fish which can damage you. The enemies also block the passage leading further into the level. The best way to deal with this problem is to stop time when the projectiles are in the air – you will easily run underneath them.
A few steps later, you will come across collapsing boards. Don't stand on them for too long. Try to keep moving forward without stopping. You reach a place from which you can access a secret level.
The path will be blocked by enemies. Simply hit them from below to proceed. If you don't defeat them, you won't be able to continue the level.
Another sequence where you will need the time-stopping mask. There are many unstable objects and pits on the glacier. You need to stop at the right moment so you can jump to the other part of the map.
Soon, you will encounter fire chests that can deal you a lot of damage Watch out for them. Wait for the moment when the fire stops burning and break the chest.
You will come across enemies with throwing weapons. Run to them when they prepare to throw and attack them.
The next sequence is challenging and requires a quick reflex. You have to jump on boards and ice floes and avoid landing in the water.
This part also requires good platforming skills. Jump to the top to finish the level.
Secret level
You can access the secret level by going around the enemies with crossbows. Land on the platform that will take you to the level.
As a side note, that's another spot where you will also find a time-stopping mask. This short level requires a good reflex. You have to collect as many Wumpa fruits as possible and then return to the main map.
