  1. Communication is the key to success. Try to get in touch with your team.
  2. If you don't have a microphone, use chat and in-game commands.
  3. Equip the knife to run faster.
  4. Use headphones whenever possible. Headphones allow you to react to even the smallest noise, e.g. when an enemy fire a random shot or runs through a corridor that is nearby your position.
  5. Remember that you can pick-up weapons left by your enemies.
  6. Remember that you can give a bought or a found weapon to your ally. If, for example, your teammate is an expert with a given weapon, and your skill leaves much to be desired, consider giving the weapon over to your teammate.
  7. Keep an eye on your allies and inform them of enemy movements.
  8. Buy grenades - they will come in handy during the round.
  9. Check if the grenade your about to throw doesn't bounce of one of your allies and/or lands at your feet. This is especially important when conducting a team assault.
  10. Avoid open spaces. An enemy armed with a sniper rifle may be waiting for your move.
  11. If you hold a lot of cash, check if your teammates do not need to be restocked.
  12. If you've run out of health, and the round is still in progress, try to hide somewhere to save your weapon.
  13. Check all angles and corners of a building you're about to enter. The enemy can be waiting right behind the door.
  14. Throw a flash or a smoke grenade before entering an open area.
  15. Hide behind obstacles when reloading your weapons.
  16. Make sure to fire at the end of a move, as firing during movement lowers your accuracy.
  17. Remember that grenades can be thrown in three different ways - LMB - long range, RMB - close range, and LMB + RMB - medium range.
  18. Buy a Kevlar and helmet to increase your survivability.
  19. As Counter-Terrorists, make sure that at least one member of your team has a defuse kit.
  20. Make sure to pick-up bomb defuse kits from downed allies.
  21. If Terrorists managed to plant the bomb, utilize a simple trick - approach the bomb and start defusing it, then discontinue and start looking around the area. The enemy will probably leave his hideout when he hears the sound of defusing, giving you an opportunity to eliminate him. Defuse the bomb once the enemy has been taken care of.
