This page of the Coral Island beginner's guide is about gifts. If you want to make friends with the inhabitants of the island, and maybe enter into a relationship with someone, gifts will be a must.
This page of the guide was written based on the Early Access version of the game. It is up to date as of October 12, 2022.
First, you need to equip the gift to the quick access bar and select it. Then you move the cursor over the person you want to give it and "use" it (right mouse button). Then you accept the choice and listen to the character's reaction.
In the People tab (H by default), you can choose the person you are interested in. This will allow you to see what gifts you have given them so far and what they thought about them - whether they liked it or not. Not all items can be used as gifts.
