Here's a list of answers to frequently asked questions (on forums, streams, etc.) about the Cooking Simulator:

Is this another stupid simulator?

No, it isn't. The game is far from being another "game for an hour" to fool around with and quickly forget - even if many YouTubers present it that way.

Is it a VR game? Does Cooking Simulator support VR?

Nope. Currently, the game does not support VR at all, so it obviously doesn't require a VR set.

The developers said they would think about a VR port if the "main" game succeeds.

Does the game have a multiplayer mode?

Not at the moment. The developers, however, confirmed that they want to include a multiplayer mode, and are trying to figure out how to implement it in a smart way (the main problem is gameplay, not technicalities).

Still, the game is currently a single-player only.

Does it support Steam Workshop?

No, but the developers want to add it over time.

How long does it take to complete Cooking Simulator?

If we're talking about the career mode, the developers said that, on average, reaching the level of a 5-star restaurant (which is the main goal of the career) should take the player about 10 hours (one day is about 30 minutes real-time), however, you also have all the recipes to unlock, achievements to obtain, a free mode (sandbox) on which we will test and learn, as well as tutorials at the very beginning.

Completing the average recipe (once you learn to actually cook) takes about 10 minutes. Multiply this by 67 existing recipes in the game... quite a lot to do. So if you sum it all up, we think the title will easily provide over 30 hours of fun.

Is it possible to prepare a dish on your own "whim"?

Yes, but only recreationally - according to what we wrote in the next section, we can not get a score or money for such a dish... however, the sandbox is there for a reason.

So, can you create your own recipe?

No, but with the Steam Workshop it should become possible.

How to change the difficulty level?

You can't. The game at the time of release does not have difficulty adjustment, however, it's relatively simple at the very core (this game uses the principle easy to learn - hard to master), in addition, our Guide will show you a couple of tricks that will boost your scores among clients.

How to hide food in the fridge?

You can't. The refrigerator functions only as a "shop" with products, just like the vegetable stand.
