On this page of our guide to Code Vein you will find out how to unlock a shortcut from the first location, where to find another Vestige and how to get to the boss of the region.

After activating Mistle, go to the ladder.

On the right there is Harmonia Chrome (x2). But watch out for the giantic sphere rolling from above. To avoid it, you have to go sideways to small alleyways, but there is often an enemy there. So, be careful.

Walk in such a way all the time, from left to right, from right to left, defeating enemies at the same time.

Once you're at the top of the field, defeat your opponent, who was making these big spheres. On the left at the bottom there is a passageway. Go there. You will meet a Revenant that has to be defeated. Kill him and pick up a MJ310.

Get back upstairs and go on. You'll see your opponents at the edge. After defeating them, do not go straight through the sand, but instead turn left first - you can move there normally without being slowed down. Pick up the Queen Titanium.

Keep going, next to the corpse you'll find a Stamp: Icon 04. But watch out for opponents hidden in the sand.

On the right side you will see an enemy with red crystals on his back. This time the battle can be much more challenging because the location is covered in sand, which makes it extremely hard to move around. However, there are places where you can move normally.

Once you've defeated him, collect items like Queen Titanium, Spotless Instrument and Awake MJ310 in this location. In the chest you'll find Suicide Spur +7.

Move on. You'll meet more enemies. After defeating them, on the left side there is a ladder that leads to the shortcut from the first Mistle.

Go ahead and destroy the fragile objects in front of you.

On the left you will find a lift that leads to the Rotten Mistle and to the unlocking of the shortcut.

At the bottom you will also find Board Game and Queen Titanium. If you're out of health, take a short rest at the first Mistle. Now it's best to start from this spot and moment if your character dies. Afterwards, take the shortcut to get back.

When climbing the ladder, on the left there is a road that is guarded by 3 plants spitting fire. Defeat them, at the very end of the road you will find Harmonia Vestige Part D.

Turn around and turn left, watch out for enemies buried in the sand. There you will find Awake MJ310.

On the right there are fragile objects, destroy them. In one of them you will find a Loss Shard (S). Keep to the right, there is a small path that leads to Antique LP Record, but destroy the wooden crates first.

Turn right, you'll encounter more enemies there. On the right there is a taxi. Below it, you can jump down to clear the Rotten Mistle. But beware of an enemy with explosives. As you climb up the ladder, pick up Bottled Jam.

A little bit further you will find another opponent who's turned his back on you. He defends Harmonia Vestige Part B, but before you go near him, watch out for enemies hidden in the sand.

Then turn left, and there you have to defeat more enemies. Approach the ladder and lower it to unlock another shortcut to the boss.

From here on, turn left and go straight ahead (check out the picture). There's an opponent on the left. Defeat him and go ahead.

Move on. You'll find Rotten Mistle and NPC called Themisto. Give him all Harmonia Vestige before you start fighting the boss.

In front of you there is a road to the boss of the region - Successor of the Throat.
