On this page of our guide to Code Vein you will learn how to move to the next location, what are the doors with angelic wings and where further paths lead.

In the next location you will find more routes and paths, one of which is the door visible in the screenshot that you may have seen before. You will open it only after you have defeated next boss of this region.

Turn right from the above mentioned door and continue your journey. Climb up the ladder. That's where you'll see the locked door which can be opened by using the Shoddy Key. But before you go there, behind you is Queen Steel and a ladder. Lower it down to unlock the shortcut.

Behind the doors there are two enemies. After defeating them, jump down into the hole.

There is one opponent waiting for you, defeat him and jump down again (check out the screenshot). Loot the body and pick up the Awake MJ212.

Turn around, then go ahead. There you will see an opponent with a Rotten Mistle. After defeating him, you will clear the location and get a map update. Also destroy the crate behind him, there's an Isis Vestige Part A.

After defeating him, step back and go straight ahead into another path.

There is a Rotten Mistle in the next room, clean it. Get down the ladder.

Going a bit further, you will see a treasure chest. Loot it to get Ornate Key.

Now that you have the key, go back to where you couldn't unlock the lever due to the lack of the item (in Cathedral Perimeter).

After opening the door, continue until you find yourself on the bridge that leads to the next Mistle, Cathedral Front. The location is so small that it does not need to be described as a separate chapter.

Moving on, you'll encounter a huge door surrounded by a barrier. After a while, a cutscene will be displayed. From now on, you can exchange the collected Vestige at NPC named Leda. When you open the door, you will open the second boss arena of this region - Successor of the Ribcage. This is a boss that uses many different types of attacks (like electric, fire, etc.). It's best to wear an armor that protects you from all types of various attacks.
