This guide page to Chernobylite contains a walkthrough for the Kidnap Kozlov quest. With this guide, you will successfully complete the task.

The purpose of this mission is to kidnap and interrogate Kozlov. First of all, you need to go to the top floor of the hotel to check the situation. To get there, it is best to use the elevator. You'll only find one soldier there - you shouldn't have problems with defeating him.

After checking the situation, you can head towards the cultural center. To avoid detection, the safest way is to sneak under the overpass. First, head to the room with a view on the Ferris wheel. You will find a control panel that can give you an advantage. To do this:

1. divert power - this will start the Ferris wheel and divert the attention of the military;
2. cut off the power - this will turn off the lights and help you sneak.

Then you'll have to go upstairs. There, in one of the rooms, you will find Kozlov. Talk to him and kidnap the man.

After that, you will be able to interrogate Kozlov and decide his fate. You can kill him yourself or let him die at the hands of one of your comrades. The better option, however, is to keep him alive.
