Avoid damage from large debris in streets

Right at the beginning of the level, after exiting the building with the CLAWs youll find yourself at one end of a long, flooded street (picture above) - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

Right at the beginning of the level, after exiting the building with the CLAWs you'll find yourself at one end of a long, flooded street (picture above). When you get to its end and turn right, avoiding damage from the falling debris you'll pass the challenge. It is very easy - simply do not go headlong, just move down the street carefully, from one hiding place to another. In this way, all the debris will fall away far in front of you, and not AT you.

Direct CLAWs to eliminate enemy personnel (x8) in the flooded street

This is not a difficult challenge, but it can be a bit onerous - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

This is not a difficult challenge, but it can be a bit onerous. When you go into the flooded street, run quickly to the garage door on the left (first picture above) and press the use button by the word Access, so that the robots can go in the garage. Thanks to this they will be on the roofs and you'll be able to use their support from above.

To pass this challenge, your CLAWs have to kill 8 enemies with rockets, whom you should earlier mark - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

To pass this challenge, your CLAWs have to kill 8 enemies with rockets, whom you should earlier mark. To do this, press the appropriate button and point at the opponent with a blue light, and then confirm the target by pressing the fire button. Mark them for CLAWs (picture above), but keep in mind that they are not able to hit at the left side of the street. You need to take out the opponents hiding on the left side with a rifle.

Your main targets should be the enemies on the balconies - when pointing at them, try not to point at the front of a balcony, but at the interior, pointing over the rail (picture above) - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

Your main targets should be the enemies on the balconies - when pointing at them, try not to point at the front of a balcony, but at the interior, pointing over the rail (picture above). Thanks to this the rockets won't crash against the balcony (which would mean that the opponent comes out of it unharmed), but they will hit the windows and the entrance, which will immediately do the trick. Opponents will appear in front of the big gate at the end of the street all the time, while those on the balconies won't. If you clear all of them on the balconies, and you don't get the challenge, wait somewhere away from the big gate and mark the opponents running under it.

Record 400 TB of data from Menendez surveillance

During the first attempt, when you are looking at the courtyard, Menendez, whos wearing a light-colored suit, will get out of one of the three jeeps and after a while he will stand nearby - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

During the first attempt, when you are looking at the courtyard, Menendez, who's wearing a light-colored suit, will get out of one of the three jeeps and after a while he will stand nearby. Your job is to keep the crosshair on him (you can zoom the screen using the scope) to identify him and then record as much data as you can (picture above). When Menendez starts to walk away, move the crosshair along with him. You should be able to record about 100 TB of data (the TB counter is next to the circle in the middle of the screen, below the two horizontal bars on the right). There are four attempts including this one.

Before the second attempt its necessary to prone - if you do not do that, a patrolling helicopter will detect you - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

Before the second attempt it's necessary to prone - if you do not do that, a patrolling helicopter will detect you. Look to the right, there should be a circle indicating Menendez on the scanner (picture above). He will be passing through the corridor from right to left (for a second or two he will stop and then he will start walking further). Keep the crosshair on him all the time - when you lose contact with him, you should have a lot more than 200 TB of data. Do not worry if Harper blocks your view of Menendez, because it does not matter to the scanner.

As soon as you enter the small watchtower, scan DeFalco, who is talking to the guard by the helicopter (this will speed up collecting the data) and then locate Menendez (picture above) - he will again be coming out from the right - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

As soon as you enter the small watchtower, scan DeFalco, who is talking to the guard by the helicopter (this will speed up collecting the data) and then locate Menendez (picture above) - he will again be coming out from the right. Then he will stop and have quite a long conversation. After that he will go left. If you sufficiently used this and the two previous attempts, at the end of the third you should have 400 TB of data. If not - don't worry, soon you will have an opportunity to pass the challenge.

When you and Harper go inside the building, you will be able to record Menendezs last conversation through the window (picture above) - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

When you and Harper go inside the building, you will be able to record Menendez's last conversation through the window (picture above). He will come out from the left and stop. The challenge should be yours.

Incinerate enemy personnel (x10) with flamethrower attachment

To even be able to pass this challenge, at the beginning of the mission - when the CLAW breaches the door and kills the enemies - go left, to the second CLAW - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

To even be able to pass this challenge, at the beginning of the mission - when the CLAW breaches the door and kills the enemies - go left, to the second CLAW. Move closer to it (there is a word Access on it) (picture above) and press the use button to be able to run the flamethrower later during this level.

Then, shortly after that, when you get discovered, you will take control over the very CLAW - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

Then, shortly after that, when you get discovered, you will take control over the very CLAW. Immediately incinerate several enemies in front of you with the flamethrower (picture above). Go forward and burn everyone on your way. Remember that the flamethrower always shoots in the direction your robot is facing. Also, watch out for red explosive barrels! After killing the enemies go right.

Due to the fact that the survival of your robot is necessary to pass the next challenge, you have to watch out for the soldiers with RPGs in the courtyard, who will shoot rockets at you through the garage door on the left - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

Due to the fact that the survival of your robot is necessary to pass the next challenge, you have to watch out for the soldiers with RPGs in the courtyard, who will shoot rockets at you through the garage door on the left. So try to move in such a way as for there to be, for example, a column between you and the exit. On the right, between the columns, a large group of enemies will gather (picture above). This is an excellent opportunity to pass the challenge. Instantly after that, see the description of the next challenge.

Protect CLAWs (x2) from destruction

2 - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough
After youve passed the challenge above, dont shoot at anyone, but retreat the CLAW to the place where you took control over it - thanks to that youll make sure that nothing will happen to it - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

After you've passed the challenge above, don't shoot at anyone, but retreat the CLAW to the place where you took control over it - thanks to that you'll make sure that nothing will happen to it. Then, switch to the second CLAW. It is important to kill the soldiers with RPGs in the courtyard among the jeeps as soon as possible (first picture above), as well as to fire rockets at enemies with RPGs, who are on the roof on the right (second picture above). The next ones can come running from the street on the left (depending on how early or how late you switched from one CLAW to the other). Afterwards simply destroy the rest of the targets (helicopter, two jeeps) and kill all the other enemies. After a while, you should automatically go back to playing as Mason. If there wasn't a message about losing a CLAW, the challenge will be passed. At any time, if any of the CLAWs gets destroyed, immediately go to the menu and start the mission from the last checkpoint - just before you started playing with the first CLAW.

Deploy SOC-T boost to find alternate routes (x2)

During the escape, at some point you will be able to choose - either you will operate the drone, or remain in the jeep (picture above) - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

During the escape, at some point you will be able to choose - either you will operate the drone, or remain in the jeep (picture above). If you want to do this and another challenge - that is about destroying eight vehicles - select the jeep (namely, the SOC-T). If it isn't clear, you should know that you can't do all three challenges during the escape at one attempt. To pass this challenge it will be necessary to use the SOC-T boost, which you run by pressing the jump button, at appropriate times. You have to use it twice at the right moment.

The first way is as follows - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

The first way is as follows. When you choose the jeep, drive through the big building, then turn left into the highway and make sure to drive onto the left lane. Look out for the green and blue sign forming something similar to a ramp (picture above), and when you're in front of them, turn the boost on and jump out.

And the second optional way - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

And the second optional way. When you go out of the big factory (inside you will turn left and then right, having red-hot metal on your left), drive down to the railway tracks on the right. They lead to a built driveway, in front of which you should enable the boost to fly to the other end of the building (picture above). After you've landed, the challenge should be passed.

Destroy enemy vehicles (x20) with drone missiles

As a drone simply shoot rockets at all targets marked with red circles on the screen - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

As a drone simply shoot rockets at all targets marked with red circles on the screen. It's enough to mark the target by passing the cursor over it, then all you need to do is to press the fire button - a rocket will hit the target by itself. Blocking the target will be shown by a red circle (picture above), you will also hear a distinctive sound. You don't have to pay any attention to the enemy soldiers but try to hit each jeep you see.

There are a lot of jeeps in the following place - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

There are a lot of jeeps in the following place. When you fly into the big building through the hole on the right, make sure to pay attention to the opposite exit (picture above). There are several vehicles in and near it. If you have not passed the challenge yet, you will have a few jeeps to destroy in the next part of the mission.

Your task is to ram eight enemy jeeps - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

Your task is to ram eight enemy jeeps. It will be enough to get closer to one of them and turn on the boost. Then you sometimes only need to give it a little nudge and it will be destroyed. The lower the difficulty level, the easier it will be, so it is best to pass this challenge on Recruit level. Do not hesitate to retreat to destroy any vehicle left behind. However, it can't last for too long. If you hear at least 3 messages from Harper urging you to go faster, it will mean that in a moment you will lose Salazar and fail. The first two jeeps will be in the big building, where you will enter shortly after taking the decision (picture above).

3 - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough
The next two will be on the highway on the left (first picture above) - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

The next two will be on the highway on the left (first picture above). It will be easier to destroy them, as they are not moving. After jumping over to the right path, after a while, from the opposite direction another jeep will come out and turn left. You'll catch up with it in the tunnel, in which you will enter in a while (second picture above).

Right near the entrance to the big building, on the left, theres a fourth jeep - Mission 05: FALLEN ANGEL | Missions: Challenges - Missions: Challenges - Call of Duty: Black Ops II Game Guide & Walkthrough

Right near the entrance to the big building, on the left, there's a fourth jeep. However, if you're inside and go right instead of turning left, then there will be four jeeps (not moving) exactly in front of you (picture above). Even right here, with a bit of luck, the challenge should be passed. If not, hunt for the jeeps later in the mission. The further road leads left, then right, across the parking lot. There is another jeep there. Further there will be no immobile vehicles, but you can always hunt for those moving around.

Collect intel (x3)

See the "Intel" section or the description of a mission walkthrough to discover where you can find intel in this mission. Collect it all to pass the challenge.

100% survivability rating

You'll manage to pass the first part of the mission easily, provided you don't run up into the enemies and not get burried with blows. Open the gate on time while fleeing from the bus. Later, during the sequence with the drone, you need to be especially cautious. It's extremely easy to stand in a wrong spot, make a stupid mistake and die. At the end of this scene don't sprint from behind the truck wreck. Instead, come out crouching. Otherwise, the drone will hear you. Continue to do exactly what Harper tells you - don't show yourself to the helicopters, get down when necessary, etc. During the escape, select the drone - it's a lot easier to control it than the jeep.
