TIME AND PLACE: March 30, 1943; Matmata

YOU ARE: Sergeant John Davis

This is the last mission located in the African region. It's not that hard, although it has some challenging moments. You start off inside a moving jeep (screen 1). You can listen to your teammates dialogs if you want to. You will be hit by an enemy truck in a couple of seconds. It looks like the Nazis were trying to surprise your squad members (screen 2). You'll have to take care of this problem.

First of all, you will have to take care of a guy that's been equipped with a rocket launcher. You shouldn't have any problems locating him, especially since he'll manage to score at least one successful hit (screen 1). You must find a good cover and start eliminating the remaining enemy soldiers from there (screen 2). Watch out for the grenades!

After you deal with the enemy soldiers (involved in the surprise attack) start following the squad leader. You should encounter several new groups of enemy troops very soon. You must be crouching at all times, it would also be great to find some cover (screen 1). Take care of the guy standing by the heavy machine gun post (screen 2). He can be found inside one of the surrounding buildings.

Start moving forward. Duck behind the brick wall in order to avoid one of the Nazi fighters. You also have to watch out for enemies standing on balconies (screen 1) and hidden in the nearby buildings (screen 2). You might want to use some grenades to dispose of them more efficiently.

You should encounter the new heavy machine gun post in a couple of seconds. Just as before, use your smoke grenades in order to blind enemy soldiers (screen 1). Start off by running forward. You will have to turn right at some point. Eliminate the nearby Nazis. It would be wise to use concrete walls for extra cover (screen 2). Wait for the other team members to join you.

You've got to be careful! There's an enemy armored car nearby! You have to take out its gunner (screen 1). You might also want to kill a guy standing by the MG-42. You were trying to avoid his attacks earlier. Throw a couple of grenades in there (screen 2). If you decided to choose otherwise, rejoin the rest of the team.

You should be able to reach a bigger square in a couple of seconds. WAIT here. Find some good cover and start shooting at the enemy soldiers (screen 1). An allied tank will arrive here shortly. Step back and let it do the dirty work (screen 2). You might also try following the tank. Remember to keep a safe distance.

Unfortunately, the tank that was trying to help your team is going to be destroyed. Join your squad members and start running towards enemy positions (screen 1). After you've taken control of this point stand near the destroyed tank and get your rifle ready. More Nazis are coming. You will have to deal with them (screen 2). Keep moving forward.

Continue pushing forward. You should be getting near the enemy positions. It would be best to lean out a lot. Eliminate soldiers standing by the Anti-Aircraft gun (screen 1). It would be wise to use some of the carried grenades. The Nazi snipers are next. First group of enemy soldiers will appear at the western part of the complex (screen 2).

Taking care of the first group shouldn't be a problem. Watch out. There are more Nazis here!! The second group will be coming from the north (screen 1), and the last one from the east (screen 2). Remember to use all possible cover. Start moving towards the AA gun.

Step a little bit closer. Press the F key in order to use the Anti-Aircraft gun. Start shooting at the enemy planes (screen 1). WARNING! One of the Nazis will probably throw a grenade at you. AS SOON AS the grenade icon appears on your screen, leave the AA gun and step back (screen 2). Otherwise, the explosion would've killed you almost instantly.

You may now go back to the AA gun. Continue shooting at the enemy fighters. They will be coming from only one direction, so you shouldn't have any problems locating them (screen 1). You will have to destroy at least 15-20 enemy fighters. After that, the mission is going to end (screen 2).
