Warzone: Bunkers - locations, prizes, hot to open? Warzone guide, tips

In this chapter of our game guide to Call of Duty Warzone, you can find information about bunkers - what the bunkers are, what types of bunkers are available in the game, where they are hidden on the Verdansk map and how to open them.
Bunkers are an additional event that was added to Call of Duty Warzone in one of the updates after the release of the game. Currently, there are 11 regular bunkers (numbered from 0 to 10) on the Verdansk map, which can be accessed by using the Red Access Card. Additionally, there is one special bunker marked as 11, which requires performing a specific task associated with phones and obtaining the bunker code. Below we reveal the location of all bunkers in CoD Warzone and describe how to open them. Also, we provide information on what you can actually find in them. Additionally, we have described in detail the procedure of opening 11 bunkers and obtaining a valuable reward - the legendary MP7 weapon blueprint called "Mud Drauber".
Bunkers - all locations, rewards
The map below shows the exact location of all bunkers available in Call of Duty Warzone. Ordinary bunkers were marked in green and special bunker 11 was marked in blue. After opening each regular bunker, the player will have access to top-of-the-line equipment - epic and legendary weapons, a lot of additional tactical equipment and large amounts of cash. Special bunker number 11 hides even a more valuable loot.
- Bunker 00 - the first bunker is at the edge of the map. To access it you have to go down the rocky path leading along the cliff;
- Bunker 01 - this bunker is on the other side of the scrapyard, just head north of the go-kart track;
- Bunker 02 - this bunker is located north of bunker 01;
- Bunker 03 - this bunker is located right next to the previous one. To access it you have to go underground (there is a hole in the ground with a ladder);
- Bunker 04 - this bunker is located southeast of the dam. To get to it, you have to climb the rocks;
- Bunker 05 - another bunker is located west of the plane wreckage, near a military base;
- Bunker 06 - this bunker is located at the eastern edge of the map between the quarries and the lumber mill. To get to it, you have to climb up the rocks;
- Bunker 07 - another bunker is located just behind the Warst Bridge;
- Bunker 08 - this bunker is on the other side of the building with bunker 07;
- Bunker 09 - another bunker is located southeast of the prison. To get to it you have to go down the cliff to the very bottom ground;
- Bunker 10 - this bunker is located on the south side, close to the border of the map;
- Bunker 11 - a special bunker with number 11 is located in the northern part of the map, near a military base.
Bunkers - how to unlock and enter them?
As we mentioned earlier, to open ordinary bunkers in Call of Duty Warzone the player will need a special Red Access Card. The eleventh bunker (special one), which is located to the northwest of the Military Base, requires you to solve complex phone puzzles, which we have explained in detail in other section of this guide.
In the picture above you can notice a player standing in front of one of the bunkers. A red light is flashing over the entrance to the bunker and the door is barricaded with thick steel rods. On the right side of the bunker you can see a control panel that can be used to enter the access password - this is where the Red Access Card can be used.
Red Access Card - how to get it?
At the time of writing this guide to CoD Warzone, the Red Access Card can be found in loot crates. However, the highest chance of finding this item occurs in legendary equipment crates. Unfortunately, even finding a legendary chest with equipment won't guarantee a 100% chance of acquiring the Red Access Card. The chance that the desired bunker access card will drop out of the chest is very low.
If you eliminate an opponent who has previously found the Red Access Card item, then you can take it away and use it for your own purposes.
Bunker 11
Unlike the usual bunkers in Warzone which contain a lot of high-end equipment and a lot of cash, bunker 11 offers a real reward! What distinguishes bunker 11 from the other bunkers is the way used to access it. Player must first initiate a hidden task by picking up the right phone, and then decipher the Russian numbers corresponding to the subsequent phones hidden on the Verdansk map. All of these will reveal fragments of Morse code. Only after acquiring this valuable information the player will be able to reach the real prize, that is, the legendary MP7 weapon plans called "Mud Drauber" and lots of other equipment that can be useful during the match.
Phones initiating the task - all locations
There are many different phones on the Verdansk map and you can find them literally everywhere: in offices, shops, military bases or airports. However, only a few of them will allow you to begin the task that grants the access to the 11th bunker in Warzone. The map below shows the location of all phones on the Verdansk map, which will allow you to start the task that grants access to the 11th bunker.
- 1 - Dam, control room;
- 2 - office space in the television station building;
- 3 - Junkyard, one of the side rooms;
- 4 - Novi Grazna Hills, in one of the side buildings;
- 5 - building opposite the supermarket;
- 6 - in one of the buildings of Verdansk Port;
- 7 - in a tall and oval building in the center of the city of Verdansk, on the top floor (you can use the elevator shaft to get to the top more quickly).
In order to start the process of opening the 11th bunker in Warzone, the player must find the ringing phone and answer it. Unfortunately, with the start of each new game, the location of the appropriate phone also changes. Therefore, you will have to choose one of the above locations and count on finding the ringing phone. If not, you have to look elsewhere.
Once you answer the ringing tone, you will hear the voice of a Russian-speaking person - it is a sign that the task has started. After a short conversation there will be a beep sound. Then, the person on the other side of the phone will say 3 random numbers from 0 to 9, of course in Russian so you have to listen very carefully. To make it easier, we provide a description below:
- 0 - ???? ("nol");
- 1 - ???? ("odin");
- 2 - ??? ("dva");
- 3 - ??? ("tri");
- 4 - ?????? ("chetyre");
- 5 - ???? ("pyat");
- 6 - ????? ("shest");
- 7 - ???? ("syem");
- 8 - ?????? ("vosyem");
- 9 - ?????? ("devyat").
The Russian will tell you a three-digit code, which corresponds to 9 other phones on the Verdansk map. For example, if you have heard "dva", "syem" and "nol", you have to answer phone number 2 first, then phone number 7 and finally the phone number 0 at the end. After you answer these calls, you will receive the Morse code fragments required to open bunker 11.
Morse code phones - all locations
When the player manages to answer the right phone, the next step will be to get the Morse code fragments, which involves exploring a large area of the Verdansk map. Thus, it is advisable to use a means of transport like a car or a helicopter while performing this task. The map below shows the location of all phones that contain fragments of the Morse code needed to open the 11th bunker in Warzone.
- 0 - military base, on the second floor of a small square "building" consisting of 2 containers;
- 1 - Bank in the city center, in the computer room behind the reception counter;
- 2 - Lozoff Pass, on the second floor of a gun store;
- 3 - Quarry, in a side building on the ground floor, on a dashboard full of multiple switches (check the phone on the right);
- 4 - Police Station (Block 18), in a room on the second floor;
- 5 - TV station, in a side part of the building;
- 6 - Air Traffic Control Tower ( ATC), telephone is at the top;
- 7 - Airport, telephone is located in an underground room where luggage can be picked up;
- 8 - Hospital, phone lies on the reception counter near the entrance;
- 9 - Dam, in a large building, search for a white phone on the dashboard.
Important note! You must answer the calls in the exact same order as they were specified during the phone call. Otherwise, the attempt to open the 11th bunker in Warzone will fail. You don't have to write down the code fragments - you just have to answer specific calls in the right order and you can go straight to your destination.
