Warzone: Weapons Tier list Warzone guide, tips

In the Call of Duty Warzone, players have access to a large choice of weapons and tactical equipment. Each weapon can, of course, be customized in custom loadouts menu and you can have it delivered through supply drops, but before that happens, you need to make use of weapons that you find across Verdansk. Some weapons are better than others, and some are only worth using in certain situations. This chapter will help you establish what weapons are the best and which ones to use during Call of Duty Warzone matches.

Warzone weapon ranking (Tier List)

In Verdansk, you can find weapons of a different rarity - Ordinary (white), Common (green), Rare (blue), Epic (purple) or Legendary (orange). Ordinary weapons do not have any mods, while Legendary weapons will have as many as five. It is important to know which weapons are the best, which is why we have prepared a special list of weapons available in Call of Duty Warzone, divided into tiers, with S being the best class of weapons and D the worst. When evaluating weapons, we've checked their usefulness on the battlefield and configurations in which they appear on Verdansk. Weapon statistics were also taken into account, such as damage caused, rate of fire, recoil, and magazine capacity.

Where to look for customized weapons?

In Verdansk, weapons can be found literally everywhere - on the ground, in forests, on the roofs of buildings, inside houses, sheds or shops. Some of them lie in the open, while others are hidden inside crates that make a distinctive buzzing sound that makes them easier to locate.

To find an Epic or Legendary weapon in Call of Duty Warzone, you first need to locate a special crate - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

To find an Epic or Legendary weapon in Call of Duty Warzone, you first need to locate a special crate. The colour of such crates is different - they are orange or purple. Inside them you will usually find two weapons (Legendary or Epic) with 4 or 5 modifications. Sometimes, you can find gas masks or other useful tactical equipment.

Glossary

This chapter lists various terms or abbreviations which meaning can be somewhat complicated - especially for novice players. For this reason, we have prepared a glossary that will make it easier to read gun statistics.

  1. RPM (Rounds per Minute) - determines the rate of fire of a weapon, that is, the number of rounds it is able to fire in one minute. The higher the value of this statistic the better, because it directly translates into the overall damage-dealing capacity of the weapon.
  2. DPS (Damage per Second) - determines the amount of damage caused by a weapon during one second.
  3. ADS (Aim Down Sight) - the time it takes for the character to draw the weapon to his face after pressing the zoom button, enabling the player to use the attached scope or sight. The lower the value of this ratio the better.

Call of Duty weapons - S Class (S Tier))

S-class weapons are the best tier of weapons that you can encounter in Verdansk while playing Call of Duty Warzone. The S Class includes versatile weapons that perform well in virtually every possible situation and have the best modifications. This group includes weapons such as M4A1, FAL, MP7 and MP5.

M4A1

The M4A1 is probably one of the most popular and best assault rifles you can find in Call of Duty Warzone. Although the M4A1 is the most commonly customized weapon, you can find Epic and Legendary versions of this gun during your adventure in Verdansk.

The M4A1 is an extremely well-balanced weapon that deals very high damage and is easy to use - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

MP7

The MP7 is without a doubt one of the best weapons that can be found in Verdansk in the Call of Duty Warzone. The MP7 comes in several variants - Ordinary and Rare, and the best versions are real killing machines, especially in the early stages of gameplay when opponents lack armor.

The MP7 has an extremely high rate of fire, as well as surprisingly good accuracy due to its easy to control projectile spread - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

The MP7 has an extremely high rate of fire, as well as surprisingly good accuracy due to its easy to control projectile spread. What's more, the MP7 does enormous damage. Without a doubt one of the most used weapons in CoD Warzone. MP7's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 40 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 25 damage

MP5

The MP5 is most likely the best SMG weapon available in Call of Duty Warzone. The MP5 is also one of the best weapons for beginners. On Verdansk, you will find Epic or Legendary variants of this SMG, and each is a really useful weapon.

The MP5 combines very high speed, solid damage and easy-to-control recoil - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

  8. Reload time - about 1.7 seconds

Call of Duty weapons - Class A (A Tier)

Class A contains weapons that may still be some of the best available in Call of Duty Warzone but are not good enough to be in Class S. Among the weapons listed in Class A are: R-9 0, Dragunov, Kar98k and AK-47.

R-9 0

R9-0 is probably the best shotgun available in Call of Duty Warzone. The R9-0 features very high speed, great accuracy, and good damage dealing ability It performs well in close contact and in tight spaces. On Verdansk you can find Epic and Legendary variants of this weapon.

The R9-0 is a fully automated shotgun so you dont have to reload your weapon after every shot - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

The R9-0 is a fully automated shotgun so you don't have to reload your weapon after every shot. With the R9-0, you can kill an unarmored opponent with one shot. After the last patch, you will need 2 successful shots to the body to defeat an opponent wearing armor. A direct shot to the head is usually fatal. R9-0 statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 208 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 204 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 204 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 204 damage
  5. RPM - 280
  6. ADS - 290
  7. Magazine capacity - 14 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 9 seconds

Dragunov

Dragunov is one of the easiest to control sniper weapons available in CoD Warzone and is especially recommended for novice players. In Verdansk you can find two variants of this weapon - Epic and Legendary. Each of these two variants is equipped with a good scope to make the use of the weapon easier.

Dragunov can eliminate its target with a single shot, provided it hits the head - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

Dragunov can eliminate its target with a single shot, provided it hits the head. Interestingly, Dragunov has 15 rounds in the magazine and does not need to be reloaded after every shot fired. Dragunov's statistics and average damage from a single bullet are as follows.:

  1. Shot to the head - 140 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 136 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 70 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 63 damage
  5. RPM - 155
  6. ADS - 257
  7. Magazine capacity - 15 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 4 seconds

Kar98k

The Kar98k is a classic sniper weapon. Despite being one of the best sniper weapons to be found on the Verdansk map, the Kar98k has certain flaws. In Call of Duty Warzone, Kar98k comes in two variants - Epic and Legendary.

A direct shot to the head using Kar98k is fatal - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

A direct shot to the head using Kar98k is fatal. Unfortunately, when shooting from a very long distance you can feel that the bullets just don't reach their target. Therefore, you have to aim above the target to have a chance of a direct hit. Kar98k's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 172 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 154 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 86 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 86 damage
  5. RPM - 36
  6. ADS - 370
  7. Magazine capacity - 5 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 2 seconds

AK-47

The AK-47 is undoubtedly an extremely good weapon, albeit difficult to master, making it not recommended for novice players. On Verdansk, AK-47 only appears in the best possible variant - Epic and Legendary. As a result, each available variant of the AK-47 offers an additional sight that makes the weapon easier to use.

The AK - 47 is highly lethal - the damage caused by this weapon is horrendous - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

The AK - 47 is highly lethal - the damage caused by this weapon is horrendous. Unfortunately, the unpredictable and hard to master recoil of AK-47 makes it viable only at close and medium range. AK-47's statistics and average single bullet damage are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 56 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 42 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 35 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 35 damage
  5. RPM - 560
  6. ADS - 300
  7. Magazine capacity - 30 rounds
  8. Reload time - about 1.5 seconds

Call of Duty weapons - Class B (B Tier)

Class B features average class weapons that usually perform well in the early stages of gameplay, but do not stand out in any particular way. Also included in this category were weapons that can often be found on the Verdansk map: PP Bizon, P90, AUG, PKM, FN Scar 17, M13 and FR 5.56.

PP Bizon

PP Bizon belongs to the SMG family, but is not a very popular weapon in Call of Duty Warzone. On the Verdansk map, you can find better variants of this weapon with additional modifications, but you won't get anything that will make the weapon's statistics stand out in any way. Still, at the start of the game, the PP Bizon can be a useful weapon.

Compared to other top SMG weapons, the Bizons speed is unfortunately not satisfactory, which means you will often lose a duel with a player that uses e - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

Compared to other top SMG weapons, the Bizon's speed is unfortunately not satisfactory, which means you will often lose a duel with a player that uses e.g. AUG, MP7 or MP5. On the plus side, you can definitely count the damage done by that gun and the magazine capacity. PP Bizon's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 55 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 34 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 34 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 30 damage
  5. RPM - 650
  6. ADS - 234
  7. Magazine capacity - 64 rounds
  8. Reload time - about 1.7 seconds

P90

The P90 is a good all-around weapon from the SMG family. It may not have the best statistics in terms of damage dealt and speed, but he does perform brilliantly at the start of the game. Interestingly, on Verdansk you can find only a Rare version of the P90 with an additional sight and a stock that increases its accuracy.

The P90 has the weakest single-projectile damage, but its recoil is easy to control and the weapon has one of the best firing rates of all SMGs - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

The P90 has the weakest single-projectile damage, but its recoil is easy to control and the weapon has one of the best firing rates of all SMGs. P90's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 40 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 25 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 25 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 20 damage
  5. RPM - 900
  6. ADS - 200
  7. Magazine capacity - 50 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 2 seconds

AUG

AUG is another example of an SMG that is sure to win a direct clash against other SMGs in this category, such as P90 and PP Bizon. In the early stages of gameplay, AUG is an extremely good weapon, but can also be useful in the middle stages of gameplay. In Verdansk you can find two variants of this weapon - Epic and Legendary.

AUG is characterized by high speed, damage, and good accuracy - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

AUG is characterized by high speed, damage, and good accuracy. AUG is excellent in close-range and middle-distance combat. AUG's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 55 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 34 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 34 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 30 damage
  5. RPM - 750
  6. ADS - 250ms
  7. Magazine capacity - 25 rounds
  8. Reload time - about 1.5 seconds

PKM

The PKM is by far the best light machine gun available in Call of Duty Warzone. On the map of Verdansk you will come across many versions of this weapon, including Epic and Legendary. With additional modifications, the PKM becomes a lethal weapon with which you can fight the entire team at once without having to release the trigger or reload.

The PKM has a very large magazine capacity, good speed and accuracy - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

The PKM has a very large magazine capacity, good speed and accuracy. The downsides include extremely long reload time. If you deplete an entire magazine, you need to find a safe place to reload or change your weapon to another. It is also worth noting that carrying a light machine guns slows down your movement speed. PKM's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 46 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 34 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 31 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 31 damage
  5. RPM - 750
  6. ADS - 434
  7. Magazine capacity - 100 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 7 seconds

FN Scar 17

The FN Scar 17 is one of the most common weapons found in Verdansk. The Scar is classified as an assault rifle and is suitable as a primary weapon in the early stages of gameplay - especially in the close and medium range. You can find several variants of this weapon - even one with extra sight.

The FN Scar 17 does a lot of damage, and the firing rate and the easy-to-control recoil are definitely its advantages - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

The FN Scar 17 does a lot of damage, and the firing rate and the easy-to-control recoil are definitely its advantages. The Scar's drawbacks include the small capacity of the magazine and low damage in long-distance combat. FN Scar 17's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 56 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 35 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 35 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 35 damage
  5. RPM - 570
  6. ADS - 350
  7. Magazine capacity - 20 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 1.4 seconds

M13

The M13 is another representative of the assault rifles available in the Call of Duty Warzone. What makes the M13 a better weapon than the previously described FN Scar 17 is its very high rate of fire and magazine capacity. The M13 is a lethal weapon in the early stages of gameplay, and you can find a Common and Rare version of it on the Verdansk map.

Despite its extremely high speed and magazine capacity, the M13 unfortunately, has the lowest damage of all available assault rifles - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

Despite its extremely high speed and magazine capacity, the M13 unfortunately, has the lowest damage of all available assault rifles. Nevertheless, in the hands of a good player, the M13 can prove even better than the Scar. M13's stats and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 36 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 24 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 24 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 24 damage
  5. RPM - 900
  6. ADS - 230
  7. Magazine capacity - 30 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 1.3 seconds

FR 5.56

The FR 5.56 is an interesting weapon because it has two shooting modes - burst and single fire. Unfortunately, using this weapon is quite difficult and not everyone is comfortable with the ability to fire only 3 rounds in a row. Rookie players who have not yet developed a habit of aiming at the head can be particularly affected. The FR 5.56 is an extremely rare weapon on the Verdansk map and has the highest rate of damage per bullet of all assault rifles available in the Call of Duty Warzone. The downside is the low rate of fire which is a result of its burst mode. FR 5.56 stats and average damage per round are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 64 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 40 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 40 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 40 damage
  5. RPM - 560
  6. ADS - 317
  7. Magazine capacity - 30 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 1.6 seconds

Call of Duty weapons - Class C (C Tier)

Class C is a low shelf - you won't find any outstanding weapons here that will help you win a Call of Duty Warzone match. These weapons do a good job at the start of the game but it's better to swap them for better weapons whenever possible. Notable examples include the MG34, Mk2 Carbine, Model 680, PILA and .357 Magnum.

MG34

The MG34 is another representative of the light machine gun family after the PKM. The MG34 is also one of the most common weapons on the Verdansk map. However, it is difficult to find an MG34 with additional modifications, as most of the weapons found are of Ordinary or Rare quality. Still, the MG34 is a very good weapon at the start of the game.

The MG34 goes head-to-head with the PKM in terms of damage done from a single bullet, but wins in terms of the rate of fire, making the DPS of this weapon better overall - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

The MG34 goes head-to-head with the PKM in terms of damage done from a single bullet, but wins in terms of the rate of fire, making the DPS of this weapon better overall. Unlike the PKM, the MG34 has a difficult to control, often completely random recoil, making it difficult to shoot accurately in long bursts. The capacity of the magazine is rather meh - 50 rounds. It is also worth noting that carrying a light machine guns slows down your movement speed. MG34's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 46 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 34 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 31 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 31 damage
  5. RPM - 860
  6. ADS - 467ms
  7. Magazine capacity - 50 rounds
  8. Reload time - just over 7 seconds

MK2 Carbine

The Mk2 Carbine is a very accurate sniper weapon. With this weapon, you can eliminate a target with just one bullet - assuming you hit your opponent's head or chest (only if your target doesn't have armor). You can find several versions of this weapon around Verdansk and the best ones have an additional optical sight.

Like all sniper weapons, the Mk2 Carbine is not suitable for close-range combat, and at very long distances you may have difficulty hitting the target due to the large parabola of falling projectiles-sometimes you will have to aim well above the target for the bullet to reach it - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

Like all sniper weapons, the Mk2 Carbine is not suitable for close-range combat, and at very long distances you may have difficulty hitting the target due to the large parabola of falling projectiles-sometimes you will have to aim well above the target for the bullet to reach it. Interestingly, unlike some sniper rifles, the Mk2 Carbine does not suffer from reduced long-range damage. Mk2 Carbine's stats and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 145 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 108 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 90 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 90 damage
  5. RPM - 90
  6. ADS - 267
  7. Magazine capacity - 6 rounds
  8. Reload time - from about 1 second to 3 seconds (complete reload)

Model 680

Model 680 is one of the shotguns available in Call of Duty Warzone. It can do a lot of damage in close range, so it is perfect for taking out an unarmored opponent - especially at the beginning of the game, right after landing. Unfortunately, reloading the 680 takes forever. You can find an ordinary and rare model of this weapon on Verdansk - with additional sights, as well as custom stocks for easier aiming.

Model 680 is a very short-range weapon that is best utilized in certain situations and will not be very helpful in later stages of gameplay - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

Model 680 is a very short-range weapon that is best utilized in certain situations and will not be very helpful in later stages of gameplay. After the last nerf, you will often need 2 direct hits to the body to knock down an armored opponent. Aiming at the head does not always yield satisfactory results, because bullets fired from a Model 680 simply miss the target. Model 680's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 300 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 300 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 300 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 300 damage
  5. RPM - 70
  6. ADS - 300ms
  7. Magazine capacity - 8 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 7 seconds

PILA

PILA is one of the rocket launchers available in the Call of Duty Warzone. It's extremely hard to find, but it serves its purpose a lot better than the RPG-7. The missiles fired from PILA are self-propelled so they fly at a higher speed and have a more controlled blast.

With additional sights, it will be much easier to hit a moving target - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

With additional sights, it will be much easier to hit a moving target. Unfortunately, PILA is a "fire and forget" weapon because you only have 1 missile, and when it is fired, the weapon becomes useless and you have to replace it with another one.

.357 Magnum

The.357 is a revolver with a huge impact force that uses heavy ammunition. With its high armor penetration rate, the .357 revolver inflicts the highest damage of any pistol available in Call of Duty Warzone. Moreover, this weapon has extremely high accuracy. Unfortunately, the .357 has a low rate of fire, which means that every shot has to be launched with great precision. Also, the .357 doesn't have a large weapon magazine, because you only store 6 bullets in the weapon's chamber.

In Call of Duty Warzone you can find - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

In Call of Duty Warzone you can find .357 Magnum in many variants, including Epic or Legendary quality. This allows the weapon to have additional sights or other gadgets that enhance its capabilities. .357 Magnum's stats and damage from a single bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 113 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 77 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 73 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 73 damage
  5. RPM - 117
  6. ADS - 167ms
  7. Magazine capacity - 6 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 3 seconds

Call of Duty weapons - Class D (D Tier))

Class D includes some of the worst weapons available in Call of Duty Warzone. These include handguns such as the X16 and M19, as well as the Crossbow and the RPG-7 launcher. The weapons described here are useful only at the beginning of the game or in certain situations.

Crossbow

Crossbow is probably the worst weapon available in Call of Duty Warzone. The weapon is hard to use - the projectiles fly slowly, and it suffers from long reload times.

On the plus side, the Crossbows projectiles dont make a sound when fired, and the weapon deals a lot of damage when the target receives a headshot - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

On the plus side, the Crossbow's projectiles don't make a sound when fired, and the weapon deals a lot of damage when the target receives a headshot. When faced with an armored opponent and projectiles hitting the body, you have zero chance against any SMG or assault rifle. Crossbow's stats and average damage per projectile are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 300 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 120 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 101 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 90 damage
  5. RPM - 14
  6. ADS - 100ms
  7. Magazine capacity - 1 bolt
  8. Reload time - approximately 3 seconds

X16 Pistol

The X16 is a basic gun every operator receives at the beginning of a Warzone match. As can be expected, the weapon is viable only at the beginning of a match, when you may face an unarmored target.

Unfortunately, the X16s very low stopping power forces players to aim for the head - and you still have to hit at least twice - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

Unfortunately, the X16's very low stopping power forces players to aim for the head - and you still have to hit at least twice. Against an armored opponent, you don't get much of a chance. X16's statistics and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 72 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 42 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 36 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 33 damage
  5. RPM - 280
  6. ADS - 100ms
  7. Magazine capacity - 13 rounds
  8. Reload time - about 1.7 seconds

M19

The M19 is a slightly improved version of the basic X16 pistol. The damage done by this weapon is identical, but the M19 wins in terms of speed and magazine capacity, which in some cases can save your life.

When fighting an opponent that has an X16, you will be able to fire up to 4 more rounds, and that means doing far more damage - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

When fighting an opponent that has an X16, you will be able to fire up to 4 more rounds, and that means doing far more damage. M19's stats and average damage per bullet are as follows:

  1. Shot to the head - 72 damage
  2. Shot to the chest - 42 damage
  3. Shot in the stomach - 36 damage
  4. Shot in the legs - 33 damage
  5. RPM - 312
  6. ADS - 100ms
  7. Magazine capacity - 17 rounds
  8. Reload time - approximately 2.15 seconds

RPG-7

The RPG-7 is a rocket launcher that is primarily used for destroying all kinds of vehicles. Of course, it can also be aimed at an opponent and fired to inflict enormous damage on direct contact. Unfortunately, the missiles fired from the RPG-7 have a somewhat unpredictable blast size and hitting a target farther away - especially those that are still in motion - is a difficult task.

On the plus side, of course, you can count the large blast caused by the rocket fired from the RPG-7 - Warzone: Weapons Tier list - Basics - Warzone Guide

On the plus side, of course, you can count the large blast caused by the rocket fired from the RPG-7. It comes in handy when, for example, you want to flush an entire team out of a small building or eliminate opponents shopping at a shopping point.
