Selling tickets

A passenger who wants to buy a ticket enters your bus through the first door and will stand next to the driver. You are informed which ticket they want to purchase. There are 6 available types - Single, Day, Week, Senior, Regular and Student. They will also inform you about quantity.

How to give the change?

The majority of the passengers in Bus Simulator 18 pay with a credit card. However, there are situations where you will have to give the change. You must do it fast because this delays your arrival at the next bus stop.

To give the change you have to look at the screen - there, you can see the amount that you have to give to the passenger. You can give the change by using coins with the following values: 2.-, 1.-, 50, 20, 10, 5. Remember that it is possible to make a mistake by giving too much change.

How to check tickets?

In Bus Simulator 18 you also have to check tickets. Otherwise, you will get free-riders. If that keeps happening, your company will start to lose money. This can even lead to your bankruptcy.

To check tickets, you have to get up and leave the cockpit. Approach any of the passengers to check their ticket automatically. A passenger without a valid ticket will pay a fine.

Weather can be set before you start a trip - it can be changed in the menu presented above. Remember that you can experience random frame drops during rainy days.

Another factor that has impact on how many passengers you can get are various holidays. You can't set them yourself. They appear automatically every 3/4 trips.
