On this page of our guide to Borderlands 3 you will find a detailed description of a duel with Killavolt boss. He is an optional boss in the game, although the battle with him is long and demanding due to the various boss attacks based on electricity.

In our case, the boss Killavolt was on the 17th level of experience. It is good to further advance your character by completing other quests and don't take part in fights with higher level enemies, even if their level is higher than 1.

The Killavolt boss fight is a part of Kill Killavolt's side quest. You can unlock it in Meridian Metroplex on the Promethea planet, but the exact quest has to be completed in adjacent location - Lectra City.

The battle with the boss takes place in the final part of the quest. You need to collect all tokens from other mini-bosses, get to the arena of The Bone Zone and donate all tokens to Killavolt. One of them contains a trap prepared by Moxxi, thanks to which Killavolt will lose his force field. Unfortunately, the boss has two health bars - first one is blue and the second one red.

As with many other difficult fights, they can help you to resurrect your character (Second Wind) after it gets knocked down (Fight for Your Life). You won't have to repeat the entire fight.
