Guide content - walkthrough
The next pages of this chapter have a complete walkthrough for BioShock 2. You will learn how to accomplish the main goals, how to properly explore the locations you visit, and how to deal with encountered opponents. BioShock 2 has 9 main levels. They are:

Color markings used in the guide
- The names of the important items (plasmids, weapons, tonics) that can be found (or obtained) in a given level are written in blue.
- Green indicates the location corresponding to the correct number on the map, as well as plasmids and tonics that we can purchase.
- Red is for audio logs that we collect during the game.
Can I return to previous or older locations?
Unfortunately, unlike the first part of BioShock, where you were able to travel around Rapture's locations with a bathysphere, it is impossible to return to the previously visited levels in BioShock 2. This makes it very difficult to complete the game in 100%. You have to explore every location very carefully.
Check every place and compare your findings with information available in our guide. All this is to make sure that you have collected all the treasures and carried out all the extra work (saved or killed all Little Sisters, visited all Power to the People stations, or even earned all achievements). Often save the game in case you accidentally enter a new location and suddenly lose your ability to move back to the previous area.
