Domination is a version of conquest, played out on smaller maps and without vehicles. It is distinguished by a much more dynamic gameplay. Team Deathmatch is a simple shoot-out, without objectives and much team play.

In the domination mode there are three flags on each map. They are captured similarly to the conquest mode, but a bit quicker. The lack of vehicles is another feature, that differentiates these two modes. Remember to replace all equipment devoted to destroying tanks before playing a domination game, as they are ineffective against infantry, e.g. anti-tank grenades or mines.

However, the most important factor which distinguishes domination from conquest, is being unable to respawn on captured points. You have the choice to deploy either on a teammate or in a random point. This introduces some chaos into the gameplay, as tactical defence of your flags for a longer period of time is made more difficult. Even if the pace of the game goes down for a while, than several members of one team can spawn in a random point and surprise the other team with an attack from a different side.

Similarly to the conquest mode, to win the match a team has to reach a certain amount of points, which is set by the server's administrator (by default it is 100) or it has to have more points when the game reaches the time limit.

Tips

Domination is where you will see a lot of players running around in a constant hurry to get from one point to another before their enemies. This is why it is a good strategy to choose a position, which will give you vision on the enemies that running onto the point. Defending the flag itself is also relatively easy, as the capture zones are very small, which is why if you see a flag being captured, than you can very quickly determine where exactly the enemy is hiding.

Choose the appropriate weapons and gadgets. The Scout class can prove to be quite ineffective in domination, as the fights mostly happen in close quarters. Even if you set up in the corner of the map, you are still not safe, as a random enemy spawn position can appear right next to your sniper nest.

In the domination mode you should not capture a point with a large number of soldiers. They can be captured quickly enough by an individual, and a big group of soldiers in a small area is an unnecessary risk and a very easy target for support, grenades and elite classes. One or two players capturing the point is more than enough, while others should support them from safer positions.

Team Deathmatch

Team Deathmatch is a mode, which you should play while improving your aim or warming up. There is almost no tactical thought or team play to be found here. Just running around and shooting. In this particular mode teams receive a point for each enemy killed. The point is cancelled if the player has been reanimated. The team which scores 100 kills, or has more points after 10 minutes, wins.

In Team Deathmatch players can respawn on their teammates or in random locations.
