It's kind of control point next to bridge. You can find only one building there and the bridge (it leads to town). Easy to attack, hard to defend. You can attack this flag by using hedge or bridge as a cover.
The flag is located in the center of the town, near the church. There is a lot of cover, buildings and narrow paths. If you want to fight mostly in town, you can equip the S-mine. Be careful, sometimes even tanks drive there.
You will find a lot of players most of the time, both inside and outside the church (near fence). You can often find enemy on roof and tower (great shooting position, but risky). It will be hard to breach through church.
This flag is hard to attack and defend. There is 2 buildings, you can use them as a cover. The enemy will have to run through open area - just eliminate and don't let them get closer. The support of tanks might be useful.
It is the worst target to defend, because of lack of cover - you can find there only tiny trenches and bushes. Use fire support from tanks (attackers and defenders).
It is hard to attack this objective, because of lack of cover, but enemies often forget about defending this target.

In this chapter you will find the map of Arras in the Frontlines mode. The chapter contains a general characteristic of the map, map legend, as well as descriptions of flags in terms of available covering spots. The Battlefield 5 game guide will guide you on the battlefield.

Characteristic of the map

The map for the first day is very similar to the one from the Conquest mode - the only difference is that the points must be captured in order, one after another, pushing the frontline. The game in this mode can be very long, lasting up to an hour. Generally a good idea here is to fortify the previously captured points in case the storm on the further ones is unsuccessful.

The A point is the worst to fight at, due to the low number of covers. The point is located right next to a bridge. There is a single building there, with a lot of open space surrounding it. When both attacking and defending, you should use the bridge and hedges located nearby. The rest of the points - B and C - have numerous cover spots, as well as buildings to hide inside. You can easily find a good shooting position there. There is no golden mean here - play smart, fortify, use all of the available means to exterminate the enemy.

Point C is a church - keep in mind that some of the enemies will be located at either the roof of the building or at its bell. Point B, on the other hand, is located almost in the center of the city - it is unadvised to enter it with a tank.

After capturing 3 flags by your team, your task will be to destroy 2 points near the enemy base. In the scenario in which the enemy captured 3 flags, your team will be forced to defend its own points near the base. Regardless of the side controlling the flags, the attacking side has a limited amount of tickets to perform the assault. The game ends once all of the points are destroyed or when at the end of the map one of the sides has more defensive points. Playing as part of a team is crucial here - if you do not have it or there is no one alive at the moment, you will need to travel back to the battlefield from the last captured point.

The worst point to destroy and defend when playing as British is the one located near the church, as there are few cover spots there. Point A can be especially difficult for the attacking side, as there are multiple buildings (probably manned by defenders) and a small number of cover spots. In turn, on the German side you will find numerous cover spots, those points are great both to attack and defend.
