A Ranger is a four-legged, dog-like combat robot. You can summon it during gameplay to help in combat. . In addition, it listens to your commands, which can be issued through the communication menu.

There are two main commands you can issue: The first makes ranger follow you, providing support. With the second, the machine captures the location marked by you. You can use it to hinder enemy movement in a given location.

Of course, Rangers are not indestructible - they are susceptible to damage like every other unit in the game - when its health falls to zero, the ranger will simply destruct.
