In Battlefield 2042 you'll play numerous maps. Some of them are completely new and weren't available in previous games of the series. However, there were also well-known locations, especially for older veterans of Battlefield.

New maps

1. Renewal - it's a map of Egyptian desert. There is a solar power plant on one side and a research facility on the other. The whole area is divided by a wall, which you can get through only in a few designated points.
2. Breakaway - this map will take you to an oil rig in Antarctica. This area is characterized by large open spaces.
3. Orbital - this is an area in French Guiana. This map has many forests, and its most distinctive feature is a rocket ready for launch.
4. Kaleidoscope - a map located in South Korea. You will move between the skyscrapers in the city.
5. Manifest- a map located in Singapore commercial port. You will fight here in the area filled with containers.
6. Discarded - a map in the west coast of India. You will find here an abandoned, partially plundered shipwreck.
7. Hourglass - this is an area located in Qatar. The fighting will take place around a convoy buried in the desert.

Classic maps

1. Battle of the Bulge - a map that appeared in Battlefield 1942. You will fight here mainly using vehicles.
2. El Alamein - another map from Battlefield 1942. You will fight in Egypt.
3. Arica Harbour - a map you might have seen in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It takes you to the desert areas of Chile.
4. Valparaiso - the second map you might know from Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It takes you to the coastal tropical regions of Chile.
5. Caspian Border - a map from Battlefield 3. It will take you to the Turkmen-Iranian border.
6. Nouszahr Canals - another map from Battlefield 3. It will take you to the city of Noushahr in Iran. The main place of this map is the port.
