This guide has been prepared basing on the default, normal, difficulty level but, it will be enriched with the hints that concern playing on higher difficulty levels, on a regular basis.

Color coding

All of the chapters of this guide which concerning the walkthrough have been color-coded in a following manner:

• Brown refers to the important characters that appear throughout the game, regardless of whether they are friends or foes.
• Blue refers to the locations visited by Batman and these are both main buildings on the world map (e.g. Blackgate Penitentiary), and single rooms (e.g. the Cell Block A).
• Green refers to the items that you either find or receive throughout the play. Mainly, this means the new gadgets and objet that are meaningful from the plot's viewpoint (e.g. keycards).
• Orange refers to Batman's special movements and skills, as well as the gadgets he uses (e.g. the batarang). In the latter case, appropriate color code appears each time that you need to select a given gadget from the inventory.
