The following page describes the second chapter (Defender) of the fifth episode (Vigilante Joker version) of the Batman: The Telltale Series - The Enemy Within game.

Alfred will arrive with the Batmobile - Joker, Batman and Alfred will have a conversation:

Alfred will want to tend to Bruce's wounds - press the appropriate buttons to remove the sleeve of the suit.

You will witness a scene shown in the above screenshot. You need to speak with Joker about the following topics:

Dialogue option

What happened after the bridge?

Is that a batarang?

New costume, huh?

[Goodbye]

The dialogue is not mandatory, but thanks to that you will acquire some new information about Joker. To push the story forward, you need to tend to the wound. You must use the following items (in this order):

  1. Forceps
  2. Disinfectant
  3. Stapler

You can use the items by pressing the buttons shown on the screen. Once the wound is treated, Joker will start talking about Alfred:

[Lie] He's just my butler.

He's been a father to me.

Alfred's got a hard job.

...

The conversation will be interrupted by a phone call from Waller:

We can work this out.

Don't push me.

Go to hell.

...

Once the conversation will Waller is over, a dialogue about the virus will initiate between Joker and Batman:

Gotham's safer without it.

Because I said so.

You know why.

Murder is never solution.

Then we'd be enemies.

That's not funny.

Awareness is a start.

Use your grudges.

Control yourself.

Joker will hand over the vial with the virus and Alfred will destroy it. At the end Batman needs to call a person that can give him information about Waller. You will see several people on your contact list, but you can push the story forward by selecting agent Iman Avesta. Once the conversation with the woman is over, the chapter will end.
