In this page you can find all side quests that you can start in Sapi-Res Nome and Khensu Nome. The suggested levels for these provinces are 15-18 but if there is a quest that is problematic to you then you should do it later. Each description contains an information about how to unlock a given side quest, its walkthrough and rewards for completing it.

Abuse of Power

Suggested level: 17

How to unlock: Speak with a farmer.

Rewards: 1500 XP.

A farmer asks Bayek to help him in collecting crops. Pick up bundles of hay up (3 it total) and take them near a cart. Drop them on the ground. After that you must find a tax collector - use Senu to locate him. You must kill that person by, e.g. using your bow or performing a leap attack from a rooftop (a good chance for an attack is presented in the picture). His death ends the quest. Leave the village if you don't want to fight with tax collector's bodyguards.

The Ostrich

How to unlock: Speak with a woman.

Rewards: 1500 XP.

Speak with the woman that is pounding on hut's door. You receive a quest in which you must find and assassinate a tax collector. Go to Camp Shemu, located south-west from the starting point. Scout the area with Senu and find the tax collector. You should also mark all enemies in the camp. Infiltrate the fort at night. Thanks to that you can move easier and kill the sleeping tax collector without problems (the picture). Killing him stealthy during a day may be more difficult. His death ends the quest.

New Kid in Town

Suggested level: 18

How to unlock: Speak with Ramessu.

Rewards: 1500 XP.

Meet with Nehi in one of the huts in Letopolis. You must retrieve his cart. Go west from the city and use Senu to find the vehicle. You can also learn that a few bandits (level 18) prepared an ambush nearby. You can take them by surprise (an example is presented in the picture) but watch out for tamed lions that can attack Bayek when he gets too close to them. Clear the area and drive the cart (you can also try to escape with it immediately but this would be too dangerous). Go back to Letopolis and leave the cart near Nehi's hut.

Speak with Nehi, check the hieroglyphs on the wall in his hut and meet with Ramessu. You must now examine hieroglyphs from three other huts. Speak with a marked person first and then enter a hut. You will receive Hieroglyph Papyrus.

Solve a simple puzzle, similar to other papyruses. The word play written on the papyrus can give you a location of the Temple of a Million Years. The temple's location is presented in the picture - it is on a desert near Letopolis, south-west from the city. You may come across a few bandits near the temple, kill them. Squeeze through rocks and enter the temple. Light up your torch and start exploring - watch out for cobras (you can set them on fire or kill with a melee weapon). Reach the main chamber and examine all interactive places - a pair of corpses, a tipped over container for potions, a Lady of Slaughter statue and a papyrus with a prayer. Watch a reconstruction and go back to Nehi.

Worker's Lament

How to unlock: Examine the papyrus and speak with Nito.

Bayek must check out workers. Send Senu to scout the area. You learn that you must reach a huge well (the picture). Jump into it and speak with one of the workers. He tells you about a collapsed tunnel that trapped two other workers. Enter a small tunnel and destroy the obstacle, that stands on your way, with a melee weapon. Speak with the first of the two lost workers (Ipuy) and carry him to the place where you spoke with his colleague. Enter the tunnel once again. Destroy another barricade and squeeze through the rocks. Watch out for cobras, you can, e.g. set them on fire. Reach the second worker (Baba) and speak with him. After that you can go back to Nito.

Warning - A library can be found near the place where the second worker was. There, you can start another side quest, The Old Library (description below).

The Old Library

How to unlock: Examine a papyrus in the lost library.

Rewards: 1500 XP, Sword of Ptah.

The library is in the undergrounds and you can reach it during another side quest, described above, called Workers Lament - Sapi-Res Nome and Khensu Nome side quests and quest map | Walkthrough - Side quests - Assassins Creed Origins Guide

The library is in the undergrounds and you can reach it during another side quest, described above, called Worker's Lament. The entrance to the library is presented in the picture. This place is near the one in which you found the last worker (Baba) during the previous side quest.

Read the papyrus and head to Nil's east shore - to Ka-Khem Nome province. Your goal is to find a lost sword - reach the ruins adjacent to one of the vantage points in Ka-Khem Nome. There, you will listen to a conversation. Go north to Dasos Hideout. Use Senu to scout the area. You must find the entrance to a cave (it is presented in the picture). A pack of hyenas is near that place. Kill them and go inside. The weapon that you are looking for, Sword of Ptah (level 18, rare), is inside of the big chest.

Conflicts of Interest

Suggested level: 15

How to unlock: Examine the Informant Table in Sais village. The table is unlocked during The Scarab's Sting main quest.

Rewards: 1250 XP, a shield (only if you don't destroy Zervos' boat).

You must speak with merchants about Zervos in Sais' marketplace. Go there during a day and talk to everyone that has an icon above their head. You must have a conversation with all characters if you want to fill the progress bar. Update the mission and wait until night (you can use Dawn & Dusk ability). Notice, that a few merchants started to walk together (the picture). Follow them. They will lead Bayek to a building in which Zervos hides.

Zervos gives you a new objective - you must steal or destroy his boat. Go to Sap-Meh Warehouse where you can find a few enemies (level 16). If you want to eliminate them quietly, you should send Senu to scout the area and take them down during a night.

  1. If you plan on destroying Zervos' boat then you can set an arrow on fire and shoot it at a red jug (the picture).
  2. If you plan on stealing Zervos' boat then you should eliminate all nearby enemies first. You must also use your bow after you steal the boat because you will be chased by enemies on their boats. Reach the marker safely.

Regardless of your choice you must speak with Zervos. Saving his boat gives you an additional reward - a rare shield.

Smoke Over Water

Suggested level: 15

How to unlock: Examine the Informant Table in Sais village. The table is unlocked during The Scarab's Sting main quest.

Rewards: 2000 XP.

Meet with Amosis in the docks. Use Senu to find her. Then, you must locate Jeska - go near Hippopotamus Lair south from Sais. Send Senu again. It turns out that you must kill all hippos from the area. Try to attack them one by one. You should be extra careful when you face the strongest hippopotamus here. Killing this animal allows you to complete the location. Win the battle and speak with Jeska.

You must escort Jeska to her village. Go on a boat, wait for her to get on it too and head towards the marker. During this journey you can be attacked by other boats (remember to use your bow). Your destination is Mefkat village in Sapi-Res Nome province. It turns out that the village is overrun by bandits. Your next objective is to kill them. You can do that stealthy or you can charge at them. After that you must speak with Jeska and pick up injured Pentu. You must all reach the nearby farm. This completes the quest.

All Eyes on Us

Suggested level: 16

How to unlock: Examine the Informant Table in Sais village. The table is unlocked during The Scarab's Sting main quest.

Rewards: 1250 XP.

You must assassinate 6 Sefetu's archers. They are placed on rooftops in various parts of Sais village. Use Senu to locate them. After that you can eliminate them however you want - by using a bow, a melee weapon or sneaking on them (preferably during a night) and using your hidden blade. Kill them all and complete the quest.

Lost Happiness

Suggested level: 16

Speak with a brewery worker in Sais about a lost assistant, Nesamun. Go south from the village and start your searches there. It turns out that the assistant is imprisoned in Psenemphaia Hideout. Use Senu to locate him. You can infiltrate the fort during a night or you can use the fact that its defense is weak and defeat them all in combat. Regardless of your choice, you must find Nesamun in one of the tents (the picture) and free him. This completes the quest.

The Tax Master

Suggested level: 17

How to unlock: Automatically after completing the quests from the Informant Table in Sais.

Rewards: 1250 XP.

Reach the familiar hideout in Sais and you will learn that Sefetu kidnapped Harkhuf. You must head to Fort Nikiou. Scan it with Senu and infiltrate the fort during a night. The eagle can also help you in finding Harkhuf. You can also follow the advice that the game gives you and find a secret passage to the fort in its east part - this place is presented in the picture and using it allows you to go beyond a palisade that surrounds the fort.

Harkhuf is kept in a basement in one of the buildings. You can get there by going through a hatch but it is currently locked. Sefetu has the key. Find him in the fort - he is one of the heavy armored enemies. You should attack him by using a stealth kill. However, if you fail and you are forced to confront him, avoid his strikes and use heavy attacks - they will throw him off balance and allow you to deal more damage.

Win the fight and hold the button to confirm a kill. Thanks to that you will get Prison Key. Free Harkhuf. The last thing to do is to leave the fort safely. Choose any of the exits (you should clear a path to it beforehand). Speak with Harkhuf to complete the quest.
