Reputation and factions in Anthem Anthem Guide and Walkthrough

There are three factions in Anthem: Arcanists, Sentinels, and Freelancers. During the game, your character will be able to reach level three reputation for each of the factions.

How to improve reputation?

People who want to speak with you are marked with a yellow speech bubble (they are marked with the same icon on the map).

Every new reputation level gives you blueprints and cosmetic items for your Javelin - blueprints are usually for Modules and Consumables.

Open the journal to check your reputation progress and rewards.

Go to Journal -> Challenges -> Factions to check your current reputation level.

1. Improve relations by completing Story Missions and Contracts.
2. You can also increase your reputation by speaking with NPCs in the Fort Tarsis - every time you go back to the fort after a mission, you will see a few characters wanting to speak with you. You can skip dialogs by pressing Escape, but there a few moments where you have to answer questions - your choice doesn't matter.

Also, in the Freeplay mode:

1. You can improve your relationship with Sentinels by collecting crafting materials and documents (collectibles). Documents are hidden in various places on the map.
2. You can improve your relationship with Arcanists by opening treasure chests (they appear in certain dungeons and after completing World Events) and finding yellow runes on the walls. Also, some of the documents can also improve your relations with this faction.

Arcanist reputation rewards

Arcanist loyalty reward, level 1 (500 points):

Arcanist loyalty level 1 rewards.

Uncommon sigil - weapons blueprints. These blueprints allow you to craft consumables before starting an expedition. These blueprints improve your weapon, ammo, elemental attacks, shield regeneration, and health stats. The important thing is that a consumable can be used during one mission. If you want to use a consumable during the next mission, you have to craft it using ember. More on consumables can be found in the Consumables section of this guide.

With high loyalty, you get Access to a huge selection of consumables to create.

Arcanist loyalty rewards, level 2 (1500 points):

Sometimes, you receive rewards that affect the appearance of your javelin.

Rare sigil - weapons blueprints. Improved versions of blueprints of Consumables that improve weapons parameters. Additionally: you receive three materials to cover your armor with: silver, platinum, and wolfram.

Arcanist loyalty rewards, level 3 (3000 points):

Epic sigil - weapons blueprints. Improved versions of blueprints of Consumables that improve weapons parameters. Additionally: you receive three materials to cover your armor with: bronze, brass, and copper.

Freelancer reputation rewards

Freelancer loyalty reward, level 1 (500 points):

Javelin's component / module field.

Module / component blueprints.

Uncommon Universal Modules Blueprints. These blueprints can be used to create modules - you can install them in each javelin to:

1. Increase melee damage,
2. Strengthen armor and/or cover,
3. Strengthen the Ultimate ability,
4. Extend the time until the suit overheats,
5. Increase the amount of ammo of a certain type you can carry.

Additionally, you get a material with which you can cover your armor: Standard.

Freelancer loyalty reward, level 2 (1500 points):

Rare Universal Modules Blueprints. An improved version of modules blueprints and a material: Clean.

Freelancer loyalty reward, level 3 (3000 points):

Epic Universal Modules Blueprints. An improved version of modules blueprints and a material: New.

Guardian reputation rewards

Guardian loyalty reward, level 1 (500 points):

Uncommon Iconic Modules Blueprints. They are special inscriptions; you use these plans to create a Module. In comparison with the modules offered by the Freelancers, these offer more diversified bonuses such as e.g. increasing combo, explosion, and certain elements damage.

Guardian loyalty reward, level 2 (1500 points):

Rare Iconic Modules Blueprints. An improved version of the Module blueprints. You also receive materials for completing your armor: tin, iron, and led.

Guardian loyalty reward, level 3 (3000 points):

Epic Iconic Modules Blueprints. An improved version of the Module blueprints. You also receive materials for completing your armor: Nickel, Chrome, and Titanium.
