The Pre-Order version is characteristic for its numerous bugs, not all of them are currently "fixable".
The early version of Anthem is plagued by the problem of disappearing sound. You'll surely notice that the background sounds or those from other programs are still working. The problem was not officially discussed by the developer, and currently the cause of the problem or a way around it does not exist. The only way to regain the sound is restarting the game (getting back to main menu won't cut it). Nevertheless, remember that if you are during a game, closing the game by ALT + F4 means that your current progress, acquired experience, and gathered items won't be saved. To leave the expedition at any moment and synchronize the game data, open up the map and click on the button below that says "End the Expedition".
- Problem appears when using speakers or headphones, regardless of the chosen audio mode.
- Problem can appear when beginning a new mission or during its duration.
- Modifying sound options, volume, or disabling the voice chat (VOIP) also do not fix the problem.
