The Battle of Cedynia Ancestors Legacy Guide and Walkthrough

This chapter contains the guide to the last mission of Mieszko I’s campaign – The Battle of Cedynia. This is a rather simple mission in Ancestors Legacy.

1. Get ready for the upcoming fight. Recruit two units of shieldbearers, gather the scattered resources and go south. You will be joined by two more units.
2. Now go to the nearest settlement and take it over. Send villagers to work and start reinforcing your economy. As usual, focus on the smithy and the technology increasing the resources input.

1. Take over another village. You can find some allied troops east of it - they will join you.
2. Go south, pass Mieszko and take the last village. Focus on transporting the caravan now.

1. Upgrade the shieldbearers and get them the best armors. Create a few units of archers, too. About 90% of the army can actually consist of only these two types of units.
2. The enemy will soon appear on the map, taking over new villages. Worry not! You should have so many resources that you probably don't need anything more. Upgrade your units, place some shieldbearers at the gate and wait. If you want, you can also place some traps around the base.
3. The attack will be quite substantial - you've had a lot of time though, and you should cope with it easily. Hiding some troops in the forest and ambushing the enemy is also an option.

1. When you manage to repel the attack, the mission will end, as well as the campaign. Congrats - Mieszko I has created the Kingdom of Poland!
