The Battle of Hastings Ancestors Legacy Guide and Walkthrough

This chapter contains our walkthrough for Harold II Godwinson's final campaign mission in Ancestors Legacy called "The Battle of Hastings".

Difficulty level of this mission: 5/10

1. You start as Dunstan. Go east and you will come across a hostile squad. Luckily, a friendly squad of Shieldbearers arrives. Follow them to the enemy Archery Range and capture it.
2. Collect nearby supplies and capture the village next to them. Soon, a few enemy units will attack you - defend yourself and start recruiting archers.

1. The village in the south isn't worthy of being conquered - recruit two squads of archers and send them west to join armies that are already fighting.
2. The archers will manage to hold their guard. They will defend the passage from hostile crossbowmen. In the meantime, your village will get attacked. Heal wounded units and wait for the assault to end.
3. After some time you will be able to control units that fight in the middle of the map. Defeat the remaining enemy units and then go back to your main base. You aren't ready for the final attack yet.

1. Heal units, try to get them better armor and gather more units. The enemy will keep attacking you. However, defending yourself should be easy - all thanks to your army and Archery Towers.
2. Once you are ready, gather the army and march on the enemy village. Expect a strong resistance - still, your army should be powerful enough to break through. Burn the buildings that belong to your enemy. The mission and the campaign are over.

1. Sadly... Our hero didn't have enough luck - regardless, the history will remember him as a brave warrior!
