Before They Find Out Ancestors Legacy Guide and Walkthrough

This chapter contains our walkthrough for Harold II Godwinson's fourth campaign mission in Ancestors Legacy called "Before They Find Out".

Difficulty level of this mission: 9/10

1. is a long and difficult mission. You start with a base - the goal is to kill Harald and destroy his base.
2. You also have a few units - select them immediately and conquer the village in the north to help your economy a little bit.
3. You should now slow down and tighten the belt - the enemy doesn't know about your presence yet. Focus on economy and develop technologies that boost your resources. Your army should consist of only a few but fully upgraded units.

1. After that you should gather your forces and capture the village in the north (B). Act fast - the enemy will soon start gathering forces around their camp. Move to another village right after you capture the village B.
2. The real fun starts here - Harald starts to quickly multiply his units. You should attack him as fast as possible - do this despite the fact that the enemy has a lot of units.

1. You can send reinforcements from your main base - but be careful! There is a very powerful Viking standing on the bridge who can defeat almost every squad. Move your units along the shallow water.
2. Destroying fortifications and Archery Towers should be your priority. Siege equipment is very useful here although ranged units can also do the job.

1. Use Dunstan and his deadly ranged attacks to kill Harald. The rest of your units won't be that efficient during this fight.
2. This is a difficult mission - because of that you should prepare your army earlier and surprise the enemy before they manage to get a huge army.
3. Destroy the base and kill Harald to complete the mission.
