This chapter provides an answer to the following question – how to get resources in Ancestors Legacy?

- After capturing a settlement (they are marked on the map with letters), click on a Town Hall and select the option to recruit workers to get certain resources.
- You can, e.g. build a sawmill to get wood or you can send your workers to collect grain.
- Notice that each settlement on the map has a few icons (they symbolize wood, food or iron) around them. This informs you which resources can be gathered after capturing a specific settlement.
- Select a place where you can excavate a given resource. After that your workers will go to that place and start building a structure to, e.g. produce food. From now on you get a passive bonus to food production.
- Enemies can attack these buildings in order to slow down your economy. If they manage to destroy them, you will then have to build a new one (you also lose passive production bonus).
- Sometimes, you can find resources lying on the map, e.g. a cart with a wood icon above it. Send a unit to collect free resources.
