Careful Cannons

Points: 10

Comments: Once you have used the cannons to destroy an enemy palisade, immediately move them behind the infantry. Once enough enemy units have been defeated, Kyriell's army will retreat and stand at the city walls, and your troops will be joined by allies. Wait until the Monks have healed your army and set out to conquer Formigna.

Throughout the battle, keep your cannons at the back along with your ranged units and aim them at the incoming hordes of enemies. If they are well protected by a squad of infantry and horsemen you should have no problem unlocking this achievement.

Twinkle Hooves

Points: 10

During The Battle of Kalka River mission, send a squad of Mangudai to lure enemy units along with your leader who has a special ability that increases their attack speed. Keep them away from archers and use them to fight small units of regular infantry.

For the river battle, use the cavalry to fight the army while the Mangudai units provide cover from the rear. If all 36 Mangudai units survive, you will unlock the achievement.

Forgot a Batu

How to unlock: Kill double the enemies as your ally in The Battle of Mohi mission in The Mongol Empire campaign.

Points: 10

Comments: After completing the first mission objective, you will have 15 minutes to prepare for an attack by the enemy army.

For this achievement you should have as large an army as possible, with a decent number of mounted archers. Before the 15 minutes is up, put some ballistic machines on the bridge and build some towers blocking the bridge from your settlement. Put some buildings behind the towers. This will completely close the bridge and prevent your allies from accessing your enemies.

Send your troops to designated points on the map to attack the enemy army from the other side of the bridge. Start the offensive before the 15 minutes are up.

Once you get the achievement notification, you can quickly remove the buildings blocking the bridge, allowing your ally to enter the battle.

Boom Boom Pao

Points: 10

Comments: Raise stone walls in front of the wooden fortification and build at least one gate. Also place a Keep near the gate, to strengthen your defenses.

Block the bridges with infantry units and place as many archers and crossbowmen on the walls as possible. During raids, try to destroy all siege machines as quickly as possible, especially trebuchets, which can easily reach the city walls. Leave some workers between the wall and the wooden fortification to quickly fix the damage.

Ancient Tower Defense

How to unlock: Kill 50 enemies with Wooden Fortresses in the mission The Great Stand on the Ugra River in The Rise of Moscow campaign.

Points: 10

Comments: Build more Wooden Fortresses at the river crossings and buy upgrades there. Place 3 archers in each fortress. When attacking, make sure that your infantry doesn't attack the enemy units. After each attack, repair any damaged fortresses.

If you want to provoke more enemy units to attack, take your troops from designated locations at the river fords.

Classic Conquest

How to unlock: Destroy all enemy units and production buildings during The Siege of Kazan mission in The Rise of Moscow campaign.

Points: 10

Comments: The mission will end after eliminating all of Khan's guards. Make sure that all units and production buildings have been destroyed before breaching the last walls of the city.

Before you lay siege to the city, search the entire map and eliminate all enemy workers and military units along with every building you encounter.

Attack the city from the west. After breaching the first walls, penetrate the entire city and demolish everything that stands in your way. Send a squad of infantry to the walls and get rid of all the archers. When you see orange colored units, don't attack them as they are Khan's guards and killing them will end the mission.
