Setting the parts of burned documents

Go to the hall. Click on the documents lying on the closet. There are four pages, you need to set their parts. Click on the parts of one file and zoom in. One part is always inactive and you need to connect other parts with it. Once you put an element in its place, it will stay here. The right setting is on the screenshot below.

Now use a bottle of solvent on the cloth. Soaked with solvent cloth use on documents (10 ego points).

Then look at four documents lying on the closet (four clues). Read all of them. In Poirot's notebook will appear an information about a possible next victim: Dick Donbar.

Where do the burned documents come from?

  • Mrs Ascher's name is visible on the burned documents.
  • Sir Carmichael Clarke's medical records have been consulted recently.
  • All the victims suffered from throat afflictions (a trophy Cortex; 5 ego points).

Answer the telephone. During the dialogue with Japp answer Alexander Bonaparte Cust (3 ego points) or ask his name (1 ego point). Indicate the Black Swan hotel in Doncaster(3 ego points) or say to search all of Doncaster (1 ego point). Then decide to call hotel's owner instead of Japp.

When Poirot telephone to the hotel, ask to speak to Donbar (1 ego point), then say that Cust is a crook (3 ego points) or ask if Donbar has heard about the investigation (1 ego point). Finally put the danger into perspective (1 ego point) and ask him to keep an eye on him, (3 ego points). After the dialogue you will get a trophy Sheriff moustache.

You won't get this trophy if you tell Donbar that Cust is dangerous - in this case you will get a trophy Black swan, but only if Poirot speak to Dunbar). You will get also the trophy Small donkey, if you didn't get it earlier, or Medium donkey, if you didn't get it earlier, and if it is your fourth mistake). Then during the conversation with Japp admit that you read Donbar's medical record (1 ego point).

For ending another Whitehaven part you will get a trophy Handlebar moustache.
