Basics | Gangs AC: Syndicate Guide

Starting from the 3rd Sequence you will unlock the missions related to taking over the Whitechapel district and in result also your very own gang. The entire London was divided between a couple of districts and all of them have the sub-districts as well. At the beginning of the game the city is controlled by the Blighter gang however thanks to the various missions you may become the real ruler. Every province will give you some benefits however taking over London is not required to complete the game.

Completing all the missions allow you to initiate a gang war.

Every province has a suggestion of the minimal level required to take it over. If you will be on second level there is a small chance of succeeding if you are going to fight over a level 9 district. It will also consume way more time than necessary. Basically you should conquer one district on each level by completing all related missions and after that - participating in gang war.

Gang wars allow you to finish off the Blighter's control over a district.

A once conquered district cannot be lost and the amount of the Blighters patrolling it will instantly decrease by a significant amount. Instead you are going to see some new Rooks. Because of that exploring this district will be much easier especially since it will reduce the random enemies spawning in your way during the missions. Completing the missions increases your comrades' trust which is important for unlocking new items or upgrades.

If you haven't killed and enemy leader he will face you during a battle.

Remember: A gang leader may be finished off even before the battle. After completing few missions (depends on a district) you will see a cutscene showing you a district leader who will try to run away. If you want to kill him you need to act fast. Ignore other enemies and chase the leader. Killing the leader will make a gang war much easier.
