A Plague Tale: Requiem lets you adjust the difficulty to your liking - one of the available options are cheats. This page of our guide describes the Invincible Mode which grants you partial invulnerability. You'll also learn how to skip QTEs by automatically completing them.
Invincible Mode - partial invulnerability
The simplest way to reduce the game's difficulty is simply choosing the lowest difficulty level, Narrative. This isn't the only option for those who wish to focus more on the story, however.
In the game settings, specifically in the Gameplay tab, you'll find the Invincible Mode option granting you partial invulnerability. This setting:
- completely protects you against human enemies - they can no longer kill you;
- does not protect you against rats, fire and traps - all of these threats can still cause your death.
Automatic Interactions - skipping QTEs
In the Gameplay tab you'll also find:
- Automatic Timed Inputs Execution;
- Automatic Quick Interactions.
Both these options let you skip QTEs and other scenes where you must react quickly by following the displayed button prompts (in the example pictured above the player must quickly press Square on the controller). These settings are very useful if you're having trouble completing QTEs.
