The eKart Challenge (gokart racing mission) | Side Operations Watch Dogs 2 guide, walkthrough

This operation should be automatically unlocked after you gather a sufficient amount of Followers (fans). It revolves around taking part in several electric go-kart races and simultaneously unlocks them as an additional activity in the game. During breaks between races Marcus will have to look around for parts, which will allow him to increase the power of his go-kart.

Important - Before you start this mission try to unlock additional Botnets. They will be useful when utilizing nitro during the races.

Use nitro on long straights

Meet Taylor and begin your first eKart race. During the race (and all future races) try to avoid crashing into tires, railings and other elements of the environment, as they can knock the go-kart off of the track or stop it entirely. You can use the nitro in order to help your situation, however, you should only do so on long, straight sections of the track and save your supply of Botnets, which are needed in order to use nitro, until the end of the race.

You do not have to win the race in order to make progress in the operation. Talk to Taylor about acquiring parts, which will make your go-kart more competitive [Followers (the exact number is dependent on your finishing position].

You have to set out in order to find a new battery for your go-kart, it will be necessary for you to reach the site with the containers. It is a guarded area, which Blume's security personnel is patrolling. Additionally, you have to keep an eye out for at least one watchdog and neutralize it ahead of time or keep your distance. The battery you are looking for is in a blue container shown in the picture above. You can grab it by yourself or send the jumper to get it [+7500 Followers].

Return to Taylor and play out your second eKart race [Followers (the exact number is dependent on your finishing position].

In the last part of this mission you have to search for a microchip and it will be necessary for you to reach the Nudle shop, located in the Silicon Valley. The object is located on the floor of a playground. Activate the jumper and drive it into the slide shown in the picture above, which will take you directly to the part you are looking for [+7500 Followers].

Return to Taylor once again. Only the final eKart race remains now. You the experience in driving go-karts that you have acquired so far and do not forget about using nitro, if the need arises. Watch out for the sharp turnaround located in the final part of the lap, as a mistake in this location can cost you your victory [+8000 Followers] [the eNudle Kart go-kart] [unlocking eKart races].
