Completing minigames and robbing stores are only some of the ways of earning money

What you mostly spend cash on, in Watch_Dogs is guns, cars, components, medicine or outfits. You can obtain it in many different ways and the most important methods of making a buck have been presented below:

• Completing main missions - not all of the main missions reward you with cash but, in the case of some of them, a single pay is several, or even a dozen-or-so thousands of dollars.
• Completing side missions - I recommend that you focus, mainly, on Fixer Contracts, because that is where the pay is good.
• Robbing passers-by - Hacking the NPCs often results in transferring money from their accounts. Remember that you actually obtain the money, after you withdraw it at one of the ATMs around the city.
• Robbing vehicles - in many of the vehicles parked in the game world, you can find, among others, hard cash.
• Exploration of the city - it is possible to find cash, e.g. in paper bags marked with the question mark icon.
• Robbing stores - after you start viewing what the store has to offer, you can press the appropriate key/button to aim your gun at the owner. A successful action, usually, results in obtaining, at least, several hundred of dollars, although you need to keep in mind that the police may be alarmed.
• Completing minigames - I recommend that you master one, or two favorite types of minigames. Thanks to unlocking higher levels of a minigame ensures you with the opportunity to win more cash. Note - in the case of some of the minigames (e.g. poker or drinking contest) you need to keep in mind that you may lose more than you can win, if you lose!
