Imperial Guards  (9/23)

Imperial Guard

Regular army of “Empire”. Main strengths are the number of cheap soldiers in infantry squads and the heavy armor possibilities.

Commissar – Officer responsible for leading squad on battlefield. His special ability allows for restoring squad morale to full.

Command Squad - Includes main hero/commander (Vance Stubbs) of Imperial Guards army. Fully upgraded, can summon four additional squad members. Formation should avoid open fights, low HP and damages, but can be useful for supporting other units on battlefield.

Guardsmen - Regular Imperial infantry formation. Squad members from 4 to even 13 people. Squad is very good at long distance fighting, but weak against flamethrowers. Possible upgrades: armor, morale, damages, and range. Can be armed with:

- Grenade Launchers, strong against infantry

- Plasma guns, strong against heavy infantry

Heavy weapons team – brings heavy machinegun on battlefield. Can unload heavy weapon and defend or support with fire formations on first line of battle. Possible upgrades: HMG. Strong against heavy/light infantry, vehicles and aircrafts.

Flamehound – Armored vehicle; strong against buildings and infantry.

Marauder Bomber – Useful only thanks to special abilities, weak in open fight.

Ogryns – mutated people (they wanted to create super soldiers). Very good HP and damages as for squad of this type. Squad members from 3 to 7 solders.

Karskin – Special Forces squad. Very good HP, morale and damages from long distance weapons. Squad members from 4 to 10 soldiers. Can be armed with same weapons as standard infantry.

Chimera - APC/Storm vehicle, very good damages and impressive HP. Probably best APC (transport vehicle) in whole game.

Sentinel – MechWarrior/walker, looks like one of those from Star Wars movies. Very good damages and quite good HP. Strong against buildings, vehicles and aircrafts.

Basilisk – Artillery vehicle with very long range. Can handle light infantry on close range also.

Leman Russ Battle Tank – Standard storm unit of Imperial Guards army. This tank can bring heavy fire support and got a lot of HP, should fight on first lines of battles.

Baneblade – Super heavy storm tank with universal destination. Many HP and good damages. Avoid fights against enemy swarm attacks.
